Mass Fight Breaks Out At London Airport

A fight broke out Friday morning around 8 a.m. London time that got so large seventeen people were arrested and three were snt to the hospital.

The melee occurred at London’s Luton airport, which is a center of low cost carrier operations like easyJet, Ryanair and Wizz Air.

According to a spokesperson for the airport,

We are shocked and saddened by this isolated incident. We take a zero-tolerance approach to violence and continue to assist the police with their enquiries.

We would like to sincerely apologise to any passengers affected.

Five of the 17 arrested were released and one subsequently is out on bail. No explanation for what started the fight was given, so I’d love to hear more from readers as additional details develop.

Fights don’t usually rope in this many people, although I suppose if it were going to occur at a London airport it would be at Luton which brings together multiple Spirit Airlines experiences on the east side of the Pond.

  1. It’s the trash flying on charters to ibiza and cyprus
The brit equivalent to the cancun crowds out of the USA

  2. That’s like a baseball fight, where everyone throws really bad punches because their feelings got hurt.

  3. @Doug and OP
This fight (suprisingly) had nothing to do with Brits. All occupants were Romanians and if I heard well, it was about insulting one’s wife. Thanks to Wizz Air, I always feel home when travelling through Luton: it’s one of the few places on earth where Eastern European low-class meets (myself included). It’s a cultural shock for Westerners.

  4. That doesn’t look like a fight. Looks like one dude versus an entire group while his wife yells.

  5. Time to end this mask requirement nonsense and this stuff stops happening. Bank on it.

  6. Typical type of clientele the low cost carriers draw. Pathetic airport security. If they want to send a message then send the primary culprits to prison and take a zero tolerance position. Or simply ban them from flying all together. That will get the attention of morons like this real quick.

  7. I have used Luton many times and whilst it is like flying from a shed with shops I have never seen any bad behaviour there and it seems well managed.

Unfortunately you can get idiots anywhere

  8. Spirit seeking names and addresses of participants so they can offer a status match.

  9. Reminds me of The BLM and Antifa crowds in portland and seattle. Saw some this weekend in fact.

  10. These fights are getting ridiculous…..and…..

Those are some seriously tight Levi’s at 0:25. Great fit!
