On August 31, Ukraine International Airlines flight 6212 from Antalya, Turkey to Kyiv, Ukraine touched down at Boryspil International Airport like any other flight on any other day. But it wasn’t any other flight, because a passenger – an “over-heated mum” – decided she needed to cool off from the warm flight, so she “decided to stroll along a plane’s wing” and has now been banned from the airline.
She opened the emergency exit and took a walk outside on the Boeing 737’s wing shortly after landing, in order to “get some air.”
The mother-of-two was said to be “too hot” after landing on a flight from Turkish resort city Antalya.
Videos show her casually strolling along the wing before climbing back inside the cabin to rejoin her family.
..“By that time her two children were outside the plane and standing right next to me.
“They were surprised, saying, ‘that’s our mum!’”
The pilot called police and border officials – as well as for an ambulance, assuming the woman was medically unwell. However tests “showed she was neither drunk, nor on drugs.”

“Are you hot, Momma? You sure look that way to me!”
Got to be more to the story. Maybe someone dared her to do it. I did hear from a friend who once did a work assignment in Ukraine that he never saw more beautiful women anywhere else in the world and he wasn’t the type of guy that had low standards.
Gary, you MUST offer her a job. After all, she sought a View From The Wing.
Hmm Jetpacks, seeing creatures on airplane wings seems like some episode from the Twilight Zone (not Bella and Edward – but some might think of airline CEOs as blood sucking vamps).
That is totally wrong it’s the feral seat back kicking kids and thier enabling rents’ that you want an FA to send outside and play on the airplane wings (but at 35K).
Shouldn’t the slide have deployed?
Slide over a wing?
I’d always thought that the emergency exit row door opened inward.
Having flown the 737 NG series for a living, the wing exits have no slides as the fully extended flaps acts like a slide.
The wing Emergency Exits are spring loaded to open with eaze and are designed not to be an obstacle on evacuations, whereas the older models dod open inward, but then you had to lift the door and bring it inward into the cabin and put it on the emergency exit seats in order to egress the cabin. The NG (Next Generation) series 737 has an interlock system to prevent opening airborne.
