Thanks to Reza for the tip. Others have flagged offers that are supposed to have no fee, but the fee waiver didn’t appear explicit on the offer’s web page. This one does.
Moreover, with the Worldperks program going away, it’s close to a last opportunity to get the card and signup bonus of miles which will be converted into the Delta Skymiles program.
23,500 bonus miles after $500 in spend is a good offer with no fee for the first year, just cancel before that year is up.
In my experience, by the way, the card is churnable — at least after some period of time has elapsed. I had a Northwest Visa card back in 2004 and had no problem getting a signup bonus again earlier this year.
There site was down for award checking. I called BA and the agent checked and nothing available from LAX to LON portion all the way from November 24th to next August in economy class.
Why not go fot 25,000 Bonus Miles for $500 in Spend, No Fee the First Year

I was looking to book a flight from IAD to LON in April. There was plenty of availability and it was only 25K miles, but there was a fuel charge of almost $500. Somehow I don’t think that’s much of a deal.
PS, I had heard via AlaskaAirlines that BA was going to start adding a fuel surcharge to FF tix, but it wasn’t till later in the year. I was not happy to see this already.
Super, because that link doesn’t say fee waived the first year?
Kerry, I realize you’re replying on the wrong thread but BA always hits you pretty hard with fees (most non-North American programs do). That’s why they’re rarely a great deal in coach, go for a premium cabin 🙂
pardon me, seems that link got modified
how about this
