Paris Hilton to Launch Line of Hotels to Compete With Hilton and With the Paris

Famous-for-being-famous Paris Hilton, the great granddaughter of Hilton Hotels founder Conrad Hilton, is working to launch a chain of Paris Hilton hotels.

Paris has long planned to launch her own luxury hotel line while trying to distance herself from the famed Hilton moniker. The developments are currently being planned in three cities that she frequently visits including Dubai, Las Vegas and New York, and will all feature the beach theme that she has embraced starting in the Philippines.

Her existing foray into hotels has been limited to involvement in the design of the Paris Beach Club at the Azure Urban Resort Residences in the Philippines.

Paris Hilton hotels are not to be confused with the Paris Hilton hotel in Paris.

The brand’s first three cities are expected to be Dubai, New York, and Las Vegas — so they’re also not to be confused with the Paris hotel in Las Vegas.

Years ago I remember a meme of the ‘Paris Hilton video’ and it was a cartoon of the Hilton Paris hotel bending itself towards and kissing the Eiffel Tower. That was the first colliding of Paris Hilton and Hilton Hotels, and it was spawned by a sex tape.

Clearly Paris is one of the kids made good though, since her brother Conrad’s experiences in the travel industry aren’t as positive. In fairness, he did avoid prison.

  1. I have worked with Ms. Hilton in the past and, despite her reputation for outlandish behavior, I found her to be a consummate professional, meaningfully invested in the project for which my company was paying her.

    So, don’t laugh too hard.
