A black conservative activist had his ticket cancelled by American Airlines this week over his refusal to wear a mask on a previous flight. But he wasn’t the only one turned away by the airline.
Melissa Yeager writes that a woman was denied boarding in Phoenix by American on Wednesday since she wouldn’t wear a mask. That’s when the passenger went Brazil hotel clerk on the gate agent.

The woman had connected off of American Airlines flight AA2027 from Los Angeles, and was preparing to board a flight to Las Vegas. She wouldn’t wear a mask, and wasn’t flying non-stop between LA and Vegas (or driving for that matter). So I question her judgment on multiple levels.
She was flagged on her inbound aircraft for refusing to wear a mask, and the airline acted quickly. According to a spokesperson,
After arriving into Phoenix and being informed that they would not be able to take their connecting flight to Las Vegas, the individual became irate and struck an American team member in the terminal. Law enforcement was requested and since this is now a law enforcement matter, we would refer additional questions to the Phoenix Police Department.
The woman was arrested for striking the gate agent who denied her boarding. She is temporarily on the airline’s “refuse list” pending an internal investigation that’s necessary to ban her from the carrier.

Because AZ has done a good job, I can visit my dying mother (not – covid, just age) and 95 yo father in PA who’s community just opened up to us to visit (amazingly they have had only 1 case out of 400 residences. . .God bless the work they have done). Maybe is these, “I won’t wear a mask. . it’s my right” idiots would think about someone other then themselves and think of their Mother, Father, Grandparents, etc. . . then maybe they would put a mask on.

Now, If they could only require companion animals to wear masks too, or ban them, the airlines would be accomplishing something. Many viruses impacting humans are from animals originally. Putting un masked animals on airplanes is a crossover vector for viral transmission. companion animals need to be required to wear masks too

I just do not get it. What the hell is the problem? People refusing to wear masks. All the medical research is showing that wearing a mask can reduce the chances of your getting infected with SARS-CoV-2 by about 91%. Furthermore, if you do get infected, the viral load will be a heck of a lot less. In other words, you the mask wearer will receive less of the virus and will develop milder symptoms. Not only is the mask wearer protected but at the same time others around the mask wearer are protected as well. When you do not wear a mask, you risk infecting others around you if you are a shedder. What is this stuff with people refusing to wear masks on aircraft? It is total bs. Why even deal with this? In my opinion if a passenger refuses to wear a mask, escort them off the aircraft period. If they refuse to get off then have airport security or airport police escort them off the plane. Isn’t there some type of federal law that states that interfering with the operations of an aircraft is a federal crime? Interfering with and delaying departure procedures would certainly qualify for interfering with the operations of an aircraft. And if I were the airlines, I would ban these non-mask wearers from getting on the plane for a minimum of one year. Sorry – Ignorant people deserve tough measures.
@Doctor SS You just can NOT teach those that feel that they are right about not’ wearing a mask because Darwin was right. These are the same people who do not want kids inoculated. Also the ones who still think Obama’s birth certificate if fake and that Trump does not use the office to benefit his family businesses.
