News and notes from around the interweb:

- The door near the back of an Embraer aircraft opened thirty minutes into a flight from São Luís to Salvador in Brazil on Monday, and the plane made an emergency landing back in São Luís. Air rushed into the aircraft, yet passengers remained calm despite the hole in the side of the plane. Emergency vehicles met the aircraft that was carrying singer Tierry on board, and nobody was injured.
That was a Moment of grave concern when the door of the Brazilian music band Tierry's Bandeirante EMB-110 plane opened with the singer's team in mid-flight.
The aircraft was traveling from São Luís and had to make an emergency landing. No injuries reported.#safety #aviation pic.twitter.com/4lfvoZcQQd— FL360aero (@fl360aero) June 13, 2023

- Damaging bags is also a choice. Baggage handler is a tough job, but you can care about how you do it – or not – and the culture around this is 100% on airline management.
Lol this is why airlines like @AmericanAir tell you they’re not liable for damage to your luggage.
They know how they handle it. pic.twitter.com/NSDh5QmzQb

I wonder do you ever get peoples permission to use their photograph online?? Given its a commercal areangement between passenger and airline the plane cant be seen as “public space” and in your recent Cairns trip you used your phone on the tarmac having exited the rear doors.. which is against the instructions of the captain and aviation guidelines..
Multiple hotels in Japan under multiple brands due the lounge time limit deal. I have never seen it enforced. Perhaps they have it on paper and only use the time limit if they have overcrowding issues.
Not sure why the baggage thing is anything new. They have been throwing them on those chutes feeding to Regional jets for years. All the airlines do it.
The bag tossing doesnt look that bad. I don’t travel with fine china.
