Reader Giveaway: Free Stay With Breakfast at the Park Hyatt Buenos Aires

The Palacio Duhau – Park Hyatt Buenos Aires is a great city hotel, set in an upscale neighbor apart from the hustle and bustle of the city and just a few blocks from the Four Seasons. There are two separate buildings, connected via underground walkway or outside through the garden. There’s the original Palacio and there’s a new tower. I’ve really enjoyed staying there.

The hotel itself is stunning, modern and minimalist for the bulk of the property and yet it blends well with its exterior and palace heritage. In a way it’s a Park Hyatt the way that I’ve come to expect throughout the Asia Pacific, it’s an oasis in a city like Buenos Aires

Service at the hotel in general was outstanding. The front desk staff were extremely friendly.

And I’m giving away a stay at this Park Hyatt to a reader — read on! I’m helping to give away 2 nights here inclusive of breakfast.

Enjoy a 2-night stay for 2 guests in a Park Deluxe King Room at the five-star Palacio Duhau – Park Hyatt Buenos Aires located in the heart of the French heritage district of Recoleta, including daily breakfast at Gioia Restaurant & Terraces plus full access to Ahin Wellness & Spa, valued at approximately $1,500 USD / £1,160 GBP

This is a very special giveaway, thanks to my good friends at Luxury Travel Diary. Regular readers know them as a high-end travel blog with great reviews. They’re based in the UK and run travel auctions with real bargains.

As I’ve said before, folks who already know about these auctions don’t like this added attention, because there don’t seem to be enough bidders for many of their best offerings relative to the value available. Some of their items go way too cheap.

This prize is being given away by the hotel and Luxury Travel Diary, I’m just helping to highlight it and randomly select the winner.

To enter: leave a comment on this post with your favorite item up for auction at Luxury Travel Diary, or why you would choose to stay at Palacio Duhau – Park Hyatt Buenos Aires. You may enter two times if you wish and answer those two questions one time each in separate comments.

Contest deadline and drawing winner: Entries close Saturday, September 9 at Noon eastern. I will draw winner with the assistance of random.org.

The fine print: Advance booking is required and it’s subject to availability. Terms and conditions apply. Winner will have one week to respond to email notifying of the prize, otherwise the prize will be forfeit and made available to another reader.

For avoidance of doubt, I have no affiliation with Luxury Travel Diary or Palacio Duhau – Park Hyatt Buenos Aires. I am not getting anything in exchange for running this giveaway other than an opportunity to share the place with readers.

The hotel is solely responsible for providing prize to winner. All decisions made in the course of running this giveaway are final and unappealable and your entry signifies your acceptance. The goal here is to make readers aware of a pretty cool auction opportunity, and to give away a stay. So please don’t make it hard on me for doing so!

  6. Would love to stay at the Palacio Duhau – Park Hyatt Buenos Aires as I’ve never been to South America.

  7. The five star chateau in Chamonix would be great for my family including two gran daughters who are beginning skiers and Francophiles due to a very enthusiastic nursery school teacher.

  8. Jamaica is high on the list as we try to explore all of the Caribbean. It would be fantastic to stay for a week and see it all–including Hussain Bolt, my son’s favorite runner!

  9. I’ve been planning a trip to Buenos Aires (en route to touring Patagonia) and I want to stay at The Park Hyatt because I’ve come to the conclusion, through research, that it’s probably the finest hotel in the City- judging by the criteria that I value at least ! It’s certainly one of the most beautiful.

  10. I’d love to win the stay at Park Hyatt Buenos Aires because I live here in Buenos Aires, and had never an opportunity of attending to the well-known Hyatt (It’s way too expensive for us hehe) ! It will be a great way to discover and experience something new in my hometown.

  11. My favorite item up for auction at Luxury Travel Diary is the (2 NIGHTS LUXURY ALL INCLUSIVE) STAY IN THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC.

  12. I’d love to stay at the Palacio Duhau. Many years ago, when I was a law clerk for the Supreme Court of Argentina, I lived in the Recoleta neighborhood and would walk by this hotel regularly. It is stunning. The only hotels in Bs.As. which rival the Palacio are the Alvear (probably the best) and the Park Tower. As an SPG loyalist, on my many return trips to Bs.As., I’ve always stayed at the Park Tower or the Sheraton, so it would be wonderful to try this magnificent hotel.

  13. I’ve never been to buenos Aires but I love the park Hyatt brand and I’m a world of Hyatt elite so that should make it more comfortable.

  14. I would love to go to the solar eclipse next year and this would be a great stopping off point.

  15. This is a dumb reason but I want to stay at Palacio Duhau – Park Hyatt Buenos Aires. because I’m trying to stay at as many Park Hyatts as possible. Just finished a 4 night stay at the PH Bangkok.

  16. I’d love to stay at Palacio Duhau as all my stays in Buenos Aires so far were in Sheratons and it really is time for a change.

  17. I’d like to check out Costa Rica to see why it’s a favorite retirement locale for expatriate Americans. It seems like it also may be out of range if Cheetolini starts a nuclear war, and I doubt whether many of his Trumpanzees can find it since it’s outside of Sam’s Club range and probably doesn’t have Hooters.

  18. I have enjoyed my stay at PHBA in the past and can’t wait to go back and experience it again.

  19. I’d love to stay at the PH Buenos Aires because I’ve never stayed at a Park Hyatt, and I am planning on going to Buenos Aires early 2018.

  20. The one in BA is one of the nicest Park Hyatts for me and would love to spend those few nights there.

  21. Was just in Australia for a few days and loved it — would definitely like to return. The auction for the two night package on the Golden Coast looks like a nice way to visit.

  22. I would love to stay at the Park Hyatt Buenos Aires! I’ve never been to South America, and it would make a perfect trip to take with my wife! Thank you!

  23. I want to stay at Park Hyatt Buenos Aires because I have never visited Argentina. I would take my wife with me.
