Since tonight it’s just the two of us, I thought I’d give away money.

I’ve got a $100 gift card, and will select a winner at random tomorrow out of those who comment by Noon Eastern on Sunday.

In case you’re looking for something amusing to occupy yourself between Saturday evening and Sunday morning, there is no limit to the number of times you may enter. You can comment as many times you wish, each comment is an entry.

  1. …I just realised that if you check the last box at the bottom below that says “Notify me of new posts by email” (below “Notify me of follow-up comments by email”…), WordPress unsubscribes you from the blog until you “Re”-click on the confirmation email it sends out following the submission. Lame.
    If you are already subscribed to receive the blog via email, this system should be smart enough to know that the email address already exists in the database, rather than starting out the entire process from scratch.
    Some people may check both boxes below but never click on the confirmation email again which they just received, thinking they already get the Blog’s emails; never knowing that if they checked the bottom box while posting the comment, then they have been unsubscribed as a result of this procedure.

  7. In Venice right now and realized all hotels should provide postage and mailing services. Our very kind concierge is mailing out our cards on Monday and we do not have to chase the Italian post office! Yes, we paid extra, but service costs at times and every hotel should offer such assistance.

  38. If you’re flying Cathay out of HK in first beware the Wing is under construction for the next month. Flew in first on UA to HK and back today in first on Cathay. What a difference! Kudos to Cathay for great service and a great bed.
