Since Very Few People Read this Blog on Saturday Evening…

Since tonight it’s just the two of us, I thought I’d give away money.

I’ve got a $100 gift card, and will select a winner at random tomorrow out of those who comment by Noon Eastern on Sunday.

In case you’re looking for something amusing to occupy yourself between Saturday evening and Sunday morning, there is no limit to the number of times you may enter. You can comment as many times you wish, each comment is an entry.

Just chat away, share whatever thoughts you wish. All decisions and rulings made by me are final and unappeallable. By entering you waive any right to sue for or otherwise claim damages. Please don’t give me a hard time when I am trying to give away money or its equivalent. Thank you!

  1. Interesting premise for a giveaway–I see you got a lot of comments despite it being Sat. night! Fingers crossed…

  2. Oh,yeah. I read’em all. All the Boarding Area blogs. Daily. Even on Sat. nights. Seems I’m still working on getting a life, huh. Great fun to have opportunities like this. I mean, who doesn’t like a chance to win something?

  3. Reading from Australia and loving the website! Thanks for all the fantastic reviews.

  4. Who gives you a hard time for trying to give away money? Doesn’t seem right! Thanks for always posting helpful tips.

  5. What I should do is comment like 10,000 times for a good chance but like hacking the miles and points game it seems like it is just wrong.

    Hope
    I
    Win 🙂

  6. Looking for a Labor Day vacation and having a hard time figuring out which airline and which hotel chain – our attempt to diversify left us low on all programs #epicfail

  7. Final thought…I wish my husband wos read these blogs and tweets to realize the amt of effort that goes into travel decisions and loyalty programs!

  8. Can the card be used for replacement livers? I think I’ve had too much wine waiting for my flight.

  9. I am disappointed to see airlines award revenue based redeemable miles starting in 2015. United Airlines has no other strategic business plan other than to listen to Hunter Keay and copy Delta’s loyalty program, but it does NOT offer the quality of product or operational reliability that Delta does.

  10. This $100 gift card would help on my upcoming trip to Europe visiting family. – Thanks!

  11. Going to NYC to American Girl Doll Store for granddaughters birthday . . . Need that $100 !

  12. Was it my wild and crazy imagination but did someone just say they saw the birthplace of James Polk!?!?

  13. I’m still learning the game. Canceled my United Explorer card a few months ago to avoid the fee, and now just booked a paid flight on United where I’ll have to pay the baggage charge. Oh well.

  14. I thought if since I was traveling out of country, there would be no baggage fee, but it appears it depends on the country. Not listed on site, had to call United to find out.

  15. Just got mugged in Brazil. Messed up pretty bad. Visited over 170 countries and always safe

  16. And don’t I have to close some cards in order to qualify for bonus points again later…what is it..after 8 months? Or does that vary too?

  17. Enjoying a beautiful morning at a b&b in Greenville, ME. Can’t beat the view of Moosehead Lake.
