  1. “Texas Ranger statue at Dallas Love Field removed because of racist incidents inn the law enforcement agency’s past.” So there goes all the US Army monuments because the US Army was ordered into the racist Wounded Knee Massacre?

But let us consider the case for removing all Martin Luther King statues and monuments, since Martin Luther wrote On the Jews and Their Lies, denouncing Jews and urged their persecution.

Martin Luther argued that Jewish synagogues and schools be set on fire, their prayer books destroyed, rabbis forbidden to preach, homes burned, and property and money confiscated. They should be shown no mercy or kindness, afforded no legal protection, and “these poisonous envenomed worms” should be drafted into forced labor or expelled for all time. He also seems to advocate their murder, writing “We are at fault in not slaying them”.

Isn’t it the ultimate act of racism to celebrate with a monument a man, born Michael King, who changed his name to Martin Luther King to honor the life of a known racist and inciter of hate?

I suggest you look up Martin Luther’s clear racism on a site such as https://www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org/martin-luther-quot-the-jews-and-their-lies-quot or consult his original texts. Al Gore spoke of inconvenient truths, and there are many inconvenient truths when people take up the cry of racism and rush to take down or destroy public monuments.

  2. These psychos won’t stop at Confederate monuments or Texas Rangers. One day they’ll be screeching for statues of Washington and Jefferson to come down.

  3. Sounds like the same arguments some people make to keep the Confederate flag…”it represents our history!” SMH. History will be there in textbooks to read all about the legacies of racism – no need to “celebrate” it with a statue. Tear ’em down.

  4. The Confederate flags literally represent traitors to the US. The Confederate flags were the flags made for and used by those traitors fighting against these United States of America formed by the US Constitution.

Why would any patriotic American want to honor traitors to the United States of America just because those traitors and their descendants are Americans? And yet that is what the Confederate flags and their symbols represent: anti-US treason.

The Confederacy and those who honor the supporters of the Confederate rebellion against the US are supporters of treason and the traitors. The supporters of the symbols and monuments to the Confederacy and its anti-American rebels may as well be called out as post-independence Benedict Arnolds.

  5. They didn’t remove a Confederate flag. They removed a statute honoring law enforcement officers. It’s a real shame for the people and the state of Texas.

  6. @GUWonder By that same token why do we allow the flags of Hawaii and Texas to represent that they were actually countries of their own right? And in fact in the case of Hawaii we forced them to join the United States. Yet again it’s so easy to pick just one thing out when life is really about shades of grey.

  7. Mitch,

The Confederate flags are the flags of the AMERICAN traitors who wanted to tear apart the USA and picked up arms against the USA to tear apart from the USA.

If you’re an American and pick up arms to wage war against the USA to tear apart the USA or otherwise support such people, then how would that not make you a modern-day American traitor?

Check out the US Constitution’s Article III, Section 3, Clause 1 to see the definition of treason. The Confederacy and its supporters are traitors by definition therein. It’s symbols and monuments are symbols and monuments to treason against these United States.

  8. Its* symbols and monuments are symbols and monuments to treason against these United States.

    * The Confederacy’s

  9. @AlohaDaveKennedy The late 20th century civil rights icon was the Rev. Martin Luther King, JR! As in, a man named after his father, who was also named Martin Luther King. You are too stupid to even racist right!

  10. Frank B,

AlohaDaveKennedy is a racist troll who wants to try to undermine Jewish-American support for civil rights for African-Americans and all other Americans. Like his KKKommander-in-Chief Trump occupying the White House (when he’s not golfing or hiding in the bunker), he wants to play the divide and conquer game.

E Pluribus Unum. Strength in unity is what they fear because most Americans have an innate desire for justice for all, and this unity can push them into retreat and defeat.

  11. Succession is provided for in the Constitution, therefore Confederates are NOT traitors! I really wish people would do at least A LITTLE research before spouting of ignorant nonsense!!!

  12. @Amazing Larry – for one, it’s secession not succession. For another, the Constitution says no such thing. And no interpretation of it (by competent authorities anyway) does either.

  13. The Confederacy and its American supporters are the definition of traitors to the United States of America under the US Constitution’s Article III, Section 3, Clause 1.

That any so-called patriotic Americans want to honor the symbols and monuments to the secessionist American traitors that were the Confederacy speaks volumes about who is ignorant and/or peddling ignorant nonsense in defense of the treasonous Confederacy and its supporters.

Honoring traitors is what is being done when honoring the monuments to CSA figures and waving the Confederate flags. It’s long overdue that these symbols of American traitors be relegated to museum displays.

  14. Dont just take down a few monuments take down all monuments. No man is without sin including martin luther king a huge racist. Must we again divide the nation.Monuments are just idols for people to worship. Worship God not monuments to men.
