I’m going to argue this isn’t a mistake fare, but you can currently fly roundtrip business class to Brazil from $470 roundtrip. Routings to Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo are on American Airlines, with São Paulo about $50 more.
If you want to continue to other Brazilian cities for about $20 more than that, connections beyond São Paulo can be included on American’s partner Gol.

The terms and conditions of this deal do not make any sense to me.
There’s a huge sale between the U.S. and Europe on Delta starting at $1500 roundtrip for travel throughout most of 2021 through end of schedule (early September next year).

There are business class roundtrips between several U.S. cities and Europe from $1650. That’s an amazing deal, especially from the West Coast, and this deal was available “from San Francisco, Los Angeles, Denver, Chicago, New York, Boston, Miami and many more cities in the US” to Paris, Zurich, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Brussels, and more – with travel valid through mid-January.
What’s even more amazing is that some small online travel agency sites are making these fares available for less – much less.
Star Alliance carrier TAP Air Portugal has filed $1 each way base fares between New York JFK and Barcelona with a connection in Lisbon. This translates into roundtrip airfare starting at $168 including all taxes and fees.
Airlines are pricing cross country flights as low as $12.89. All but $2.79 of that is taxes. That’s much lower than the marginal cost to the airline for transporting an additional customer. Why would they intentionally sell tickets tickets for such low prices?
