- Sometimes the only lounge in an airport is a Priority Pass lounge, like this one in Colorado Springs. It was completely empty while I was there on Saturday afternoon.
I thought what made the Tomi/Tami thing funny was that she originally misspelled Alaska Airliens? Then the misspelling of Tomi makes it funny. Did I get that right?
I don’t consider a discount from a Veteran’s Advantage card only available to certain groups as a “trick”. May want to clarify that it’s simply a veteran’s-related benefit.
Veteran’s Advantage members also get 5% off the base fare on jetBlue flights, plus 2 free checked bags. Skip United’s ridiculous basic economy fares and fly on an airline that actually values your business.
@Gary —> Just as a point of reference, I am writing this from the Priority Pass Lounge in T3 at LAS. There are no more than a dozen people here at present.
I would’ve loved to meet you at the Denver meetup with a bunch of other BA bloggers. It was a great meet, but the BA heavy hitters would’ve been even better.
@Ken I flew home from COS Saturday night, couldn’t stay unfortunately
@Gary – Bummer. Maybe another time then. We’re flying to Dallas tonight and then back on Friday evening. If our paths may cross please shoot me an email, I’d love to meet. And we should be moving to FTW in about a month so maybe our paths will cross in the future.
