  1. Danny Meyer is hardly the ideal person to ask about tipping. Tipping at Burger King is ridiculous but tipping for to go food from a server or bartender making $2.13 an hour (and who will be taxed based on the assumption of at least a 9% tip) is a different story.

  2. United continues to astound in its ability to deliver a truly Soviet experience.

  3. Kirby was destroying AA and hence why he’s gone and Robert is at the helm. AA is finding smooth air and standardizing service, fleet and operations. Once the debt gets under control and the contracts are signed, AA future looks brighter then is has in years. DL is at cruising altitude but some rough air is being experience for sure. UA, is a mess, think they are either delayed or cancelled!

  4. Not looking forward to SLC expansion. B-gates are already a half mile or more from security, with no moving sidewalks to get one anywhere. And the supposed A to B shuttle doesn’t run for late night or early morning B-gate flights. Poor airport design.

  5. Tipping is getting to be such a mess that I would rather not get something at a place that people have their hand out for a tip. My state requires a minimum wage of $15.50 before any tips so the low wage argument doesn’t fly. When I buy takeout, it has been prepared by people getting at least that wage.
