Reader Giveaway: Free Stay With Breakfast at the Park Hyatt Buenos Aires

The Palacio Duhau – Park Hyatt Buenos Aires is a great city hotel, set in an upscale neighbor apart from the hustle and bustle of the city and just a few blocks from the Four Seasons. There are two separate buildings, connected via underground walkway or outside through the garden. There’s the original Palacio and there’s a new tower. I’ve really enjoyed staying there.

The hotel itself is stunning, modern and minimalist for the bulk of the property and yet it blends well with its exterior and palace heritage. In a way it’s a Park Hyatt the way that I’ve come to expect throughout the Asia Pacific, it’s an oasis in a city like Buenos Aires

Service at the hotel in general was outstanding. The front desk staff were extremely friendly.

And I’m giving away a stay at this Park Hyatt to a reader — read on! I’m helping to give away 2 nights here inclusive of breakfast.

Enjoy a 2-night stay for 2 guests in a Park Deluxe King Room at the five-star Palacio Duhau – Park Hyatt Buenos Aires located in the heart of the French heritage district of Recoleta, including daily breakfast at Gioia Restaurant & Terraces plus full access to Ahin Wellness & Spa, valued at approximately $1,500 USD / £1,160 GBP

This is a very special giveaway, thanks to my good friends at Luxury Travel Diary. Regular readers know them as a high-end travel blog with great reviews. They’re based in the UK and run travel auctions with real bargains.

As I’ve said before, folks who already know about these auctions don’t like this added attention, because there don’t seem to be enough bidders for many of their best offerings relative to the value available. Some of their items go way too cheap.

This prize is being given away by the hotel and Luxury Travel Diary, I’m just helping to highlight it and randomly select the winner.

To enter: leave a comment on this post with your favorite item up for auction at Luxury Travel Diary, or why you would choose to stay at Palacio Duhau – Park Hyatt Buenos Aires. You may enter two times if you wish and answer those two questions one time each in separate comments.

Contest deadline and drawing winner: Entries close Saturday, September 9 at Noon eastern. I will draw winner with the assistance of random.org.

The fine print: Advance booking is required and it’s subject to availability. Terms and conditions apply. Winner will have one week to respond to email notifying of the prize, otherwise the prize will be forfeit and made available to another reader.

For avoidance of doubt, I have no affiliation with Luxury Travel Diary or Palacio Duhau – Park Hyatt Buenos Aires. I am not getting anything in exchange for running this giveaway other than an opportunity to share the place with readers.

The hotel is solely responsible for providing prize to winner. All decisions made in the course of running this giveaway are final and unappealable and your entry signifies your acceptance. The goal here is to make readers aware of a pretty cool auction opportunity, and to give away a stay. So please don’t make it hard on me for doing so!

  7. The five star chateau in Chamonix would be great for my family including two gran daughters who are beginning skiers and Francophiles due to a very enthusiastic nursery school teacher.

  8. Jamaica is high on the list as we try to explore all of the Caribbean. It would be fantastic to stay for a week and see it all–including Hussain Bolt, my son’s favorite runner!

  9. I’ve been planning a trip to Buenos Aires (en route to touring Patagonia) and I want to stay at The Park Hyatt because I’ve come to the conclusion, through research, that it’s probably the finest hotel in the City- judging by the criteria that I value at least ! It’s certainly one of the most beautiful.

  10. I’d love to win the stay at Park Hyatt Buenos Aires because I live here in Buenos Aires, and had never an opportunity of attending to the well-known Hyatt (It’s way too expensive for us hehe) ! It will be a great way to discover and experience something new in my hometown.

  11. My favorite item up for auction at Luxury Travel Diary is the (2 NIGHTS LUXURY ALL INCLUSIVE) STAY IN THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC.

  12. I’d love to stay at the Palacio Duhau. Many years ago, when I was a law clerk for the Supreme Court of Argentina, I lived in the Recoleta neighborhood and would walk by this hotel regularly. It is stunning. The only hotels in Bs.As. which rival the Palacio are the Alvear (probably the best) and the Park Tower. As an SPG loyalist, on my many return trips to Bs.As., I’ve always stayed at the Park Tower or the Sheraton, so it would be wonderful to try this magnificent hotel.

  13. I’ve never been to buenos Aires but I love the park Hyatt brand and I’m a world of Hyatt elite so that should make it more comfortable.

  14. I would love to go to the solar eclipse next year and this would be a great stopping off point.

  16. I’d love to stay at Palacio Duhau as all my stays in Buenos Aires so far were in Sheratons and it really is time for a change.

  17. I’d like to check out Costa Rica to see why it’s a favorite retirement locale for expatriate Americans. It seems like it also may be out of range if Cheetolini starts a nuclear war, and I doubt whether many of his Trumpanzees can find it since it’s outside of Sam’s Club range and probably doesn’t have Hooters.

  18. I have enjoyed my stay at PHBA in the past and can’t wait to go back and experience it again.

  19. I’d love to stay at the PH Buenos Aires because I’ve never stayed at a Park Hyatt, and I am planning on going to Buenos Aires early 2018.

  20. The one in BA is one of the nicest Park Hyatts for me and would love to spend those few nights there.

  28. We had friends that stayed at the Andaz Peninsula Papagayo Resort in Costa Rica and loved it. Sounds like a wonderful getaway!

  29. It’s been 6 years since I visited BSAS and I have never stayed at a Park Hyatt before. This free stay will be the perfect reason for a return visit should I win.

  30. The Palacio Duhau would be a tremendous stop along a South America excursion taking me from the Patagonia to Iguazu Falls. I’ve spent one day in Buenos Aires before so I definitely haven’t had a chance to explore the city and all it’s culture, which the two nights with this opportunity would allow.

  31. The auction for 2 nights at the closest hotel to Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe definitely comes to the top of my list. I’ve always wanted to see Victoria Falls and do some bungee jumping in that area so that auction definitely stands out.

  32. Two nights by a loch in a Scottish castle sounds really neat! Would love to win this BA hotel stay though because we will be in this city for the first time in January of 2019.

  35. Gary, I’ve been following your blog for years. Since you haven’t come up with a way for me to use my millions of points to get a room at the Casa Rosada… this is the best second choice for holding my hands up like Eva Peron/Madonna on one of those glorious balconies. Trip booked for BA on March 9-11. If the trip is valid then, I won’t be crying for Argentina at the Park Hyatt!

  36. I’d chose to stay at the Park Hyatt Buenos Aires because it’s a palace and I love palaces!

  37. My 86 year old mother has bugged me for years to join her for her “last” cruise and I finally acquiesced, departing Buenos Aires Sunday March 4 to cruise around the cape to Patagonia and Santiago. She is old school and would revel in the charm and ambience of the Park Hyatt! Got her there and back in lie flat comfort on her own points btw.

  38. I’d love to stay at the PH Buenos Aires because I love the location and architecture of the hotel and I’ve always wanted to go to Argentina!

  39. I have stayed at the PH BA and got double upgraded into their suite. I loved the artwork in the hotel.

  41. I would choice the The Palacio Duhau – Park Hyatt Buenos Aires because I love park hyatt hotels and I have always wanted to go to Buenos Aires. It would be my first trip to South America. Thank you!

  42. Buenos Aires is my spirit animal and I’ve always dreamed of staying at the palacio duhau! Can’t wait!

  43. Would love the 5 nights in Tokyo! Am here now at the Hyatt Regency, and was at the Grand Hyatt in Ropponggi last year, so would love to come back to Park Hyatt next trip!

  44. I would also love to stay at the Park Hyatt Buenos Aires as I’ve had Argentina high on my bucket list for quite some time. A stay at the PH BsAs followed by a trip to the vineyards and stay at the Park Hyatt Mendoza would be fantastic!

  45. I would love to stay at the Park Hyatt because it is situated in Recoleta and I love the neighborhood.

  46. This would be great for us — we’re planning a trip to Patagonia with a long layover in Buenos Aires. A stay at the Hyatt would make it a lot more comfortable than the budget options we are considering.

  47. And for favorite auction… tough one. Perhaps the 1 night stay at the Meritage, since we could get there easily and it’s something we’d otherwise never do.

But the condo in Chamonix and the night at the Hyatt in Maui were closer runners up.

  48. I would stay at this Park Hyatt because my Viking-like skills in conquering the points and miles world has left my wife like a ravenous she-beast, always looking for the next amazing hotel stay to seize upon like the carcass of a full-grown caribou. The Park Hyatts in DC, Paris, Tokyo, Hamburg, Milan, Melbourne, and Vienna have fallen to my sword already: only the BA one will sate her bloodlust now

  49. Would love to win the giveaway because I’ve been wanting to go to Buenos Aires for the past few years

  50. I walked through the courtyard garden of the Park Hyatt Palacio Duhau years ago and would love to return to stay in the hotel!

  69. 2 All-Inclusive Nights at Diamonds Athuruga in the Maldives

Always want to go to Maldives before it is gone

  70. My favorite item up for auction is the 2 nights at Viceroy Bali Luxury Villas in Ubud, Indonesia.

  71. Why you would choose to stay at Palacio Duhau – Park Hyatt Buenos Aires: Location, Location, Location. Recoleta is a great area in Buenos Aires.

  72. I have been pondering a trip to Argentina since I haven’t been there. The Palacio could tilt that temptation.

  73. I’d choose to stay at the Park Hyatt because I’ve spent so much time in the courtyard there and sleeping at the hotel would be so much more convenient to that courtyard. BA is a magnificent city with so much to offer, and yet I can’t think of nothing so relaxing as sitting all day in that courtyard with a book and a bottle of Malbec, or playing cards with friends with a bottle of Malbec or doing nothing but drinking a bottle of Malbec. That hotel is stunning.

  74. As for which item currently up for auction, I’d say the hotel at Vic Falls in Zimbabwe. I’m determined to see all the great waterfalls of the world, and that one is high on my list.

  75. I would like to stay at PH Buenos Aires because it’s the best hotel in my home country, Argentina !

  76. I like how the PD Buenos Aires combines Palace architecture with contemporary and it has a garden.

  77. My wife and I stayed at the Miravida SoHo in BA for our honey moon and have been talking about when we would make it back. Staying at the Park Hyatt would be a great reason.

  78. I’d love to stay at the Park Hyatt BsA — a beautiful hotel in one of the top cities on my “have yet to visit” list.

  87. I’ll be in Buenos Aires for Christmas/New Years (and my birthday the day after Christmas), I would love to stay here to make it a really special birthday

  88. Why Park Hyatt BA? Because my wife is reluctant about a holiday in Japan at present. She thinks the Man with Mad Haircut (I think she’s referring to Kim Jung-un, though perhaps she is referring to Donald?) will start a nuclear Armageddon in the neighbourhood. So I joked ‘Fine – we’ll go to Buenos Aires then. – we should be able to avoid the nuclear fallout there.’ Now she’s mumbling about the time zones (very hard to please, at times, my wife) … but the Park Hyatt in a sophisticated city. If that doesn’t do the trick, nothing will…..

  89. I would like to go to the Park Hyatt Buenos Aires because all my fellow teachers get exceptionally jealous of the travel that my husband finagles with miles and points, so Buenos Aires would be a natural pick for Spring Break. Plus I bet BA is lovely in late March

  104. I’d love to stay at the Palacio Duhau – Park Hyatt Buenos Aires, mainly because it would give me very good reason to explore a new country. I’ve never been to Argentina!

  105. Palacio Duhau – Park Hyatt Buenos Aires – always wanted to go to Argentina ever since I saw Evita.

  106. Answer #1: Why I would want to stay at Palacio Duhau – Park Hyatt Buenos Aires? Well, although the smart aleck in me would say, “Why not?”, it’s hardly an appropriate response. I would *love* to visit Argentina, a country I’ve never (yet) been to, in part for all the legendary history but also — after spending 40 years in the wine trade — I would love to be able to try some of the great food and wines my friends who work in the wine industry there keep telling me about.

  107. Answer #2: My favorite item currently up for auction — or, more truthfully, ONE of my favorite items up for auction is the “5-night stay for 2 guests in an Artist Queen Room at Park Hotel Tokyo in the Shiodome Media Tower, Higashi Shimbashi in Minato-ku, Tokyo, Japan.” A very close friend of ours is a well-known and -connected chef here in California but originally from Sendai, in the Miyagi Prefecture north of Tokyo, and he has been telling us for years that we need to go to Japan . . . we would love to! And as a big “film buff,” how could I miss a chance to stay at the hotel made famous by Sophia Coppola’s great film, “Lost in Translation”?

  108. I’d love to stay at Park Hyatt Buenos Aires and experience the romance of Argentinean capital city with its wine, food and tango.

  109. My favorite item for auction is 5 Nights At Park Hotel Tokyo, Minato-Ku, Tokyo, Japan. Could really use for the planned trip to Japan this spring.

  110. I’d love to stay at the Palacio Duhau because I lived in Argentina in the early 2000s. I was posted to the American Embassy as a junior FSO back then. It was a turbulent time in the country’s recent history. In late 2001, political problems came to the fore and there were protests in the streets, riots, and eventually President de la Rua’s government fell. Then, there was a run on the banks because the government unpegged Argentina’s currency to the dollar and suddenly, people’s savings were worth much less. In December 2001 five Presidents took office in the span of two weeks. It was truly a chaotic time. With my meager junior officer salary, I became two to three times wealthier in a matter of months during my second year at post. I never returned to Argentina and would love to see what has and hasn’t changed. Getting a chance to stay at what is undoubtedly the swankiest hotel in town would be icing on the cake.

  111. I would love to stay at the Palacio Duhau because it reminds me to the old world charm that Portenos naturally exude, the fact that it looks like the interiors came straight out of Wallpaper* (and that it looks like a more hip version than its neighbor down the street, the Alvear Palace Hotel), the convenience of it located near the Cementerio de la Recoleta where Eva Peron is, while also be able to let me stroll to Cabana Las Lilas for a perfect Asado de Tira or Bife de Chorizo. It’s the perfect hotel for the perfect two night stay in one of the most romantic cities out there–Buenos Aires.

  112. I’ve stayed at the Four Seasons in Buenos Aires but never the Park Hyatt. I would love the opportunity to stay at the Park Hyatt to compare the two properties.

  139. I would love a weekend in Buenos Aires for some culinary delights and staying at PH Palacio Duhau would be very classy as well 🙂

  140. The auction I would love is checking out the Andaz in Costa Rica again. I went there when it first opened and loved it! Great alternative to the Cancun/Cozumel party scene.

  141. Would love to visit the Park Hyatt Buenos Aires and then head down to Patagonia, both sound amazing

  142. My favorite item up for auction at Luxury Travel Diary would be the “7 Nights in a 5-Star Chalet for 10 People in Chamonix France”: my favorite thing about traveling is hanging out with friends in beautiful settings and enjoying what that site has to offer that’s different and interesting. This auction item offers all of that, to put it mildly!

  143. Would love to stay at the Palacio Duhau – Park Hyatt Buenos Aires because Buenos Aires is a beautiful cosmopolitan city with great architecture and food and lots more.

  144. Great contest. Why Palacio? Because I missed the Hyatt cat 4 deval by one year and it’s been on my list. More than that, I love to visit ‘iconic’ hotels. This is certainly one in BA. Thanks for the contest & a solid blog Gary.

  154. Two nights at the PH Buenos Aires would be just PERFECT for me, as I have a two night stay in Buenos Aires coming up, and haven’t booked a hotel yet.

  173. I have been wanting to go to Buenos Aires after seeing a show about it on the travel channel. We’ve stayed at a large amount of Hyatt properties, and the Park Hyatt’s especially never disappoint. I want to see all the sights, tango the night away and enjoy all the culture of the city and the energy of the people. Then we can recuperate and lounge during the day at the resort, which looks absolutely stunning!

  174. I would bid on Conrad Istanbul for my upcoming anniversary trip, but the trip is too close to the auction end for me to make arrangements. But will keep this as an option for future trips.

  175. I have always wanted to go to Buenos Aires. I’ve heard so many wonderful things and I would absolutely adore this hotel. I have Hyatt points so I would extend my stay for as long as I could.

  177. I’d stay at the Palacio Duhau – Park Hyatt Buenos Aires as I’m mostly booked for a trip to BA and Patagonia in October! This would be quite a treat! Thank you for the giveaway!

  178. I suppose everyone has a “trip that got away” and Buenos Aires is ours. When our son did a term at the business school there we were pleased when he invited us to visit him. We had FC tickets, a beautiful suite booked and day trips planned when we discovered that our trip was scheduled to coincide with his long distance girlfriend’s anticipated romantic visit. We ended up canceling and going to Costa Rica instead and it all turned out great for our son and his now wife who just celebrated their 5 year anniversary. But we’ve always wanted to visit the city we’ve heard so much about.

  179. I was only in BA for two days back in 2000. I’d very much love to go back now that I’m no longer “young and stupid” with my travel!

  180. I’m planning my wedding and desperate need a luxury getaway on a budget. Two nights in Buenos Aires would do 😉

  181. My favorite? The “2 NIGHTS AT THE CONRAD ISTANBUL BOSPHORUS IN ISTANBUL, TURKEY”. Istanbul’s a wonderful city. I had a great time there two years ago. I stayed at the DoubleTree Old Town and really enjoyed the food, culture and people!

  182. I would choose Palacio Duhau – Park Hyatt Buenos Aires because it looks like an unworldly property! It would also make a great excuse to finally go to Buenos Aires!

  183. I think I would have to bid on the 5-Star Chalet For 10 People In Chamonix France. Sounds awesome!

  187. There were several awesome auction items that intrigued us- Tuscany, Greece, Costa Rica- but our choice ended up the 2 nights in the Luxury Villa in Byron Bay. 197. My favorite auction item is “2 All-Inclusive Nights At Diamonds Athuruga In The Maldives” – looks amazing!

  198. Would love to stay the Park Hyatt Buenos Aires, as I’m a PH fan (been to ~6 of them so far), and Buenos Aires has been on my list of cities to visit!

  203. Why stay at a PH? Well, someone who doesn’t know the answer clearly knows nothing about a stunning place like this. Seems like the place you want for a nice city trip to BA: experience the hustle in the streets and then get back to your luxurious retreat. What a gem!

4-Nights on a Half Board Basis at the IHG InterContinental Mauritius Resort Balaclava Fort

  208. This is a dream trip for my wife and I. We love the food, the wine and the vibe of BA, especially at this property. A gorgeous hotel that is close to all the city has to offer, while still feeling a little removed and serene.

  209. I would love to stay at the Palacio Duhau because it seems like the perfect location to explore Buenes Aires, which I’ve never been to, but is on my bucket list.

  215. I work constantly and my and I need some time together away from home. Staying at the Park Hyatt Buenos Aires might be just the ticket to make that work out!

  216. My favourite item on the Luxury Travel Diary’s auction site is the two nights at the Conrad Istanbul. I stayed at my first Conrad in London this summer, and what an incredible property. For six pounds, I think it might even be worth the flight to Istanbul…

  217. Palacio Duhau has the best location with an amazing inner garden/courtyard that is the perfect place for breakfast or a glass of wine. For those reasons it is definitely my top pick for a hotel in BA.

  223. I studied in Buenos Aires in 2005 and would love to return again to see the city in style at the Park Hyatt!

  224. Choose me! Loved the Park Hyatt in Tokyo! Never been to Buenos Aires!
this would be like winning the lottery!

  225. I’d love to stay at Palacio Duhau – Park Hyatt Buenos Aires with my SO who I only see rarely. We’ve never done a real vacation, and this would be lovely!

  226. 2 NIGHTS IN A LUXURY TENT AT DESERT LUXURY CAMP IN MOROCCO. I think this would be a great way to experience Morocco! Planning my husband’s birthday for next year and had my eye on the Park Hyatt in Buenos Aires.

  227. My husband and I have been used to EXP status on AA for a few years now. The problem(s) and they are two great ones…is that we are new parents to twins this year so re qualifying for EXP status is more of a challenge than years past. In order to both spend time with our new babies and maximize both time and travel we have booked an AA business class mileage run from CAI-LHR-JFK-EZE-MIA-LHR (with AA flights to/from our home city/LHR with pending SWU’s) in november- just to get a big chunk of our mileage this year to re-qualify for EXP status. We have alloted ourselves 3 nights in Buenos Ares in between criss crossing the atlantic and would love the free nights at the Park Hyatt! Thanks from an exhausted new mom who is still enthusiastically naive that we will continue our old pace of traveling with two new mini companions.

  228. I visited BA years ago and wasn’t wowed, but all my friends who have visited love it so maybe I need to give it another chance.

  235. 2 All-Inclusive Nights At Diamonds Athuruga In The Maldives sure sounds nice with fall about to roll in. Current bid is only about $100USD with 3 days left, so I’ll definitely have to keep my eyes on it…

  236. Argentina has been on my “to do” list for a while, but other destinations keep getting in the way. A couple nights at the Palacio Duhau Park Hyatt would definitely push it to the top of the list, and I could finally make my first foray into South America!

  237. I would like to surprise my wife and give her a weekend sans kids in Buenos Aires

  238. My favorite auction item is the 3 Night Celebrity Chef Cookery Course In The French Countryside without a doubt

  239. 3 NIGHTS FOR 8PPL AT PINEAPPLE HOUSE LUXURY VILLA IN JAMAICA

I’ve been to Tryall and it is amazing….but expensive. Auction might prove to be a steal!

  240. Easy to choose Palacio Duhau – Park Hyatt Buenos Aires…Harder to choose whether to stay in the refurbished Palace or in the newer contemporary building!

BA is an awesome place to visit and though not typically mentioned among the “must-stay” Park Hyatts, it’s a beautiful place and a very close second to the Four Seasons in BA.

We’d all be remiss to win this and not make a foray out to Mendoza….

    Best of luck to everyone!

  244. I would love to Stay at the Park Hyatt since I have never stayed in a Hyatt or in South America. Better than SPG hotels?

  245. I want to stay at the Park Hyatt since I have never stayed in a Hyatt or in South America. Better than SPG hotels?

  246. I haven’t been to BA yet (it’s on the short list for the next year), and I’d love to stay at the Park Hyatt, due primarily to…location, location, location!

  247. I use Luxury Travel. It’s a great site. My last trip to S. France was over the top. I’d go back to the hotel I stayed at. It was over the top.

I’m watching the Conrad Istanbul right now. I love the Blue Mosque and the sights, smells, and nightlife in Istanbul.

  248. It’s hard to pick the Luxury Travel Diary auction that most appeals – there are so many! But the 2 nights at a desert luxury camp in Morocco seems pretty amazing.

  249. I like the 2 nights at the Renaissance Johor Bahru Hotel, Johor, Malaysia. It’s near Singapore so I can parlay this with my trip to Singapore.

  250. I would want to stay at the Park Hyatt in Buenos Aires because we stayed there last Christmas and had the best time, but we have so much more to explore in BA. The pool, garden, cigar bar, everything at the hotel is great. And I can always go for more dulce de leche!

  252. I love the auction for 2 nights at the hotel closest to Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe. It’s been a childhood dream to see the the Falls.. and to be so close to it!

  253. I would love to stay in the Park Hyatt Buenos Aires. I’ve enjoyed all my time traveling in Latin America, but I’ve never been that far south before, and this would be the perfect opportunity to see a great city.

  254. I really like the auction at the Ilala Hotel near Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe. That’s a trip I really want to take at some point.

  255. Everywhere I turn I hear how elegant Hyatt properties are. I’d love to win this giveaway because my husband, who does NOT like to travel, has stated that the one place he’d like to go is Argentina. It would be a dream come true for me to take him there.

  256. My wife and I will be in Buenos Aires for the first — maybe only — time in January, having just disembarked an Antarctica cruise. After 24 days of adventure and cold, they joy of being in quiet luxury would be the perfect way to finish our journey, and the perfect base from which to explore this sophisticated/bohemian city, the street art that beats most museums,, the graveyard village patrolled by cats, the mystery of a closed-door restaurant (a master chef cooking in his/her own home), plus the kick-ass Argentinian beef, crazy futbol fans, sublime (I’m told) ice cream, and dance clubs that make Ibiza look tame. What a gift it would be to be able to stay there for free. Thanks for offering it 🙂

  257. My favorite auction — and the one I am going to bid on — is, “2 All-Inclusive Nights At Diamonds Athuruga In The Maldives,” not just because it is luxury in the bucket-listed Maldives, but specifically because it is in South Ari Atol, home to one of the highest concentrations of Manta Rays in the world. I’ve had the joy of diving in several places, but I keep missing the mantas. The chance to glide in the water, with — as one friend described them — “a cross between the submarine in ‘Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea’ and a herd of underwater flying pussycats,” is so exciting that I can feel my breath get shallow just thinking about it. Thanks again for the giveaway, and for the fun of contemplating what might happen.

  258. We have friends living in Costa Rica, so following our stay in Paris at the Park Hyatt next month, the next will be Papagayo, unless….

  259. Park Hyatt Buenos Aires, because the Recoleta district makes you feel like you are saying in Europe, but with Argentina-like hospitality.

  260. I definitely need to have a meal at Burger & Lobster in Leicester Square, because, to put it simply, a burger OR a lobster is just not enough. One always leaves you craving the other, wanting more, and rarely does one place serve both.

  261. I would stay at the park hyatt because it is always an amazing place to experience the culture and vibe of a city and the luxury and treatment I receive there is almost always perfect.

  262. My favourite auction item is definitely the four nights at the intercontinental in Mauritius—a dream!

  263. I’d stay in the Park Hyatt in Buenos Aires if I had the chance because I’ve *never* stayed in a Park Hyatt (or any luxury hotel for that matter…) and it would give me a perfect excuse to finally do my South America trip!!!

  264. We love Park Hyatts and we love to travel, and have only been to South America once. Sounds like a great time!

  265. The auction I’d like to win is 5 nights at Jannah Burj Al Sarab, Abu Dhabi, UAE. Been to UAE once and had a great time!

  268. I’ve seen the Buenos Aires Park Hyatt – from the outside! It looks like a real luxury treat. Agreed that the location is great too.

  269. Thanks for highlighting the luxurytraveldiary site. Some great travel ideas there worth keeping an eye on. 2 nights at the Grand Hyatt, Mumbai looks interesting.

  272. I’ve never been to Argentina, but the Park Hyatt Buenos Aires is a former PALACE! How cool is that??

  274. Favorite item for auction on Luxury Travel Diary is 1 Night At The First Luxury Art Hotel In Rome, Italy

  275. I would choose to stay at the Palacio Duhau – Park Hyatt Buenos Aires because it looks like an absolutely stunning property an in amazing city!

  283. I have dear friends in Argentina I haven´t seen for some time, so a stay at Park Hyatt would be the perfect excuse to be with them.
