If you join Fairmont Presidents Club — it’s free and quick to do — you’ll get 1000 Air Canada Aeroplan miles.
You’ll use embedded enrollment code FED16 and you must join by November 15 to get the miles.
You can get additional Aeroplan miles via transfers from American Express Membership Rewards (instant transfer) and Starwood Preferred Guest. You do have to keep your account active with some activity every 12 months to prevent points expiration.
This isn’t the first time Fairmont has offered Aeroplan points just for joining.
(HT: Frequent Flyer Bonuses)
The free miles are nice. Does this offer not apply to the other airlines listed on the signup page?
Thanks for the heads up!
Paul, those are options to receive airline miles per qualifying stay.
I signed up my partner for the program. However there is not a place on their website where I could put his Aeroplan number.
If they do not have the Aeroplan number how can they deposit the 1000 miles?
This seems very complicated.
Thank you!
Please leave a comment if you know exactly how to get these miles.
@Alan It’s under the section where it asks about your interests. Just expand the “frequent flyer programs” section of the application.
Oh-so-thank-U, Gary! I have been a FPC member for years, but I have taken the liberty of signing up my friend, who already is an Aeroplan member.
How long will it take before the 1000 aeroplan miles will post from the fairmont promotion? I just signed up this week? if you don’t know, who should i ask? is there a special customer care for aeroplan or fairmont that i can contact.
My friend, whom I signed up last September as above, has never received his Aeropesos. But he has not stayed at a Fairmont.
