Data Shows How Your Neighbors Handle Credit

The median credit scores by U.S. city are interesting. The best scores cluster in areas known for retirement and education as much as prosperity.

According to research by the Federal Reserve credit scores predict relationship stability. More or less you need to marry someone with a similar credit score if you want your marriage to last. So figure out which city you belong in if you want to find a life long partner. In fact get your credit score up and then get serious about dating.

Budget Bill Calls Out Administration First Class Travel – But Doesn’t Do Anything

The Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2018, which will be voted on today to substantially increase spending on both Republican and Democrat priorities and avoid a government shut down, includes language to subtly call out the Administration’s overuse of premium cabin airline travel — without actually doing anything about it.

There’s a smattering of New York JFK – London Heathrow award availability for two passengers in three-cabin first class on American Airlines in April and May. There’s a smattering of Dallas Fort-Worth – Hong Kong availability for two passengers in three-cabin first class on American Airlines May through July. Why the President Walked Away From Air Traffic Control Reform This Year

Transportation committee Chairman Bill Shuster (R-Airlines for America) gave up on reform at the end of February. Just weeks before “word had been passed quietly to supporters that Shuster finally believed he had enough votes to bring the FAA reauthorization bill (which included the ATC corporation section) to the House floor the week of March 12th” yet the idea quickly died.
