- I’m often amused when an airline or hotel company rings me to complain about something I’ve written and I can reply along the lines of, “But your COO/Executive Vice President/Head of Loyalty liked it on Twitter!” Not quite the same thing, and it doesn’t actually mean anything but I did chuckle when Kimpton hotels liked my post noting how IHG screwed up the Kimpton acquisition.

I have stayed at Kimpton and Intercontinental and the ICHs are light years ahead of the Kimptons on every level for less money or points. So, I don’t get it – you link refers to a recent promo – please explain how did the IHG ruin the Kimptons!
