Bill Murray Applied for a Job at the Atlanta Airport P.F. Changs

In 2013 Atlanta got the first P.F. Chang’s in an airport, upstairs on the A concourse. That P.F. Chang’s has set a new milestone. It’s where Bill Murray wanted to work.

Appearing on Amy Shumer’s pdcast he talked about “his desire to work at the [P.F. Chang’s] dining chain.” It’s the “one job he’d like to do outside of acting” and he shared that he “fill[ed] out an application at P.F. Chang’s at the Atlanta airport, because I think that’s one of the great places.”

Iranian Beauty Queen Has Been Living in the Manila Airport For Two Weeks

Beauty pageant winner Bahareh Zare Bahari, who has been living in the Philippines on a student visa, was detained on her return to Manila from Dubai two weeks ago because Iran submitted a ‘red notice’ to Interpol seeking her arrest and deportation. She’s seeking asylum, claiming Iran is abusing the Interpol process to silence dissenters. Interpol won’t reveal information about arrest warrants without the permission of the country submitting the request.

Airline Employee Reportedly Listed Passenger’s Clothing on Facebook Marketplace

Checked baggage is always ‘at risk. American Airlines is now reimbursing a Tulsa passenger for $1000 after her lost luggage turned up on Facebook Marketplace, being sold by a baggage worker there. The passenger had them ‘dead to rights’ too – the bar code on the new Patagonia jacket being sold matched her receipt for the purchase, she says.

When American Retired the MD80, CEO Doug Parker Was Burying the Old American

For American Airlines CEO Doug Parker the retirement of the MD80 was symbolically the end to the old American.

Instead of MD80s with more legroom in first class, Main Cabin Extra, and coach the new American is Project Oasis with poorly thought-through seats up front, seats with very little padding in back, and seats closer together across the board.

Barclays Relaunched the Uber Card, Now Gives 5% Back Across All Uber Spend (Rides, Eats, Etc.)

Barclays is re-launching their Uber Credit Card today with a new value proposition. You can apply online or in the app and current Uber cardholders will be transitioned to the new product in the first half of 2020 after being notified by email and their monthly statement.

The new card earns Uber cash rather than cash back, but offers a ton of value across all Uber spend.
