- American Airlines is offering an AAirpass for half the usual minimum buy in, $5000 in prepaid travel gets Gold status and an Admirals Club membership along with other benefits. Prices normally start at $10,000.
- Through June 30 flight attendants will not have to put on the oxygen mask and life jacket during the safety demo. Of course on aircraft with video screens installed there’s a safety video and no live demo is required.

It seems with AirPass you can only book discounted fully flexible tickets? If so, that is not that great. I wouldn’t mind pre-paying 5K for the AirPass benefits then booking normally through aa.com
Do we know how AirPass works? Can I book “regular” rates through aa.com?

I’m with these guys who posted preceding me! Is this lowest tier level of “Gold” of really any usefulness or advantage? I’d seriously consider it, but would need to know exactly how it worked, utility wise, as @ Jack above previously mentioned? Can you please shed a little more descriptive light on this Gary? I’d love a few examples!
