  1. Chase Ink Preferred will still offer 3X on all travel, right? That’s what I was using before the CSR for other travel and I guess I’ll be switching back later next month.

  2. On the feet stuff, where’s infrequent commenter @shoeguy to give us a full report?!

At this very moment, the U.S. Senate is “Examining Competition in America’s Skies.” Barry Biffle, CEO of Frontier, rockin’ that orange tie, today; he just threw some shade at Scott Kirby for dumpin’ Basic Economy fares… niccce.

  3. I have not personally tried this yet but I believe Airbnb should code as 3x on Strata Premier because that 3x includes travel agencies. And can get a Strata regular for 3x on select transit which includes car rentals, ferries, commuter railways, subways, taxis/limousines/car services, passenger railways, bridge and road tolls, parking lots/garages, bus lines, and motor home and recreational vehicle rentals.

As for cruises, while my feelings on them have been accurately encapsulated by Gary Shteyngart’s piece in The Atlantic, you could get a Custom Cash and and get 5x Select Travel and pay $500 a month towards the cruise OR Airbnb. Select Travel includes airline, hotel, cruise line and travel agency purchases.

All low/no cost points options to replace the now high cost/hard to use credits CSR.

And for those of you tuning in from the borscht belt…. Why can’t a nose be 12 inches long? Because then it would be a foot!
