Pre-order meals return for domestic first class (special meals come back next month). Second beverage service on longer coach flights comes back – American had dropped this as a sop to its flight attendants union back in January. Transcon flights get new meal improvements especially.
Nature is healing.
New meal service enhancements coming to @AmericanAir on April 13: Printed menus on flights 2,200+ miles and warmed onboard dessert. April 18 — FA’s remove plastic wrap on meal trays. Looks better than preCOVID non premium transcon and almost as good as pre merger
Great to see – now off my ‘do not book’ list
Now when will they end the flagship first nonsense of limiting the touchpoints in the name of COVID
AA is coming out of Covid-19 a different airlines. The fleet is far better the pre-covid and service is seeing improvement in the air and on the ground. I think the Kirby hang over is moving to UA and AA will look to be their own model (no they aren’t following DL, they are following their customer feedback now).
Can’t wait to see what food option/partner they bring to the main cabin. Excited to see AA gaining altitude again.
Preordering and two bev services have been on DL forever, not really this amazing feat by AA here.
“Modernized look and feel” screams “cost-cutting minimalism in the name of modernity” but we’ll see
We will see…..
I made it through the height of the pandemic on 4 Oz bottles of water and a nice little cookie during my 4 hour flights ✈.
I’ll be happy with a real Coke and another cookie, thank you very much. I’m fine.
This is much ado about nothing… It’s still airline food.
Who knew that taking the wrapper off your meal was such a big deal….
AA has improved meal service
You get a ketchup pack with the on a shingle being served
