Star Alliance Business Class Award Space to Europe Available for the Whole Family!

Dec 11 2015

United Airlines has opened the business class award floodgates on several flights between the US and Europe for next summer with as many as 9 (and perhaps more) award seats per flight.

This is especially concentrated out of Washington Dulles, though there are some flights out of Chicago like this and even a few from Newark. It’s especially true on flights that have recently been upgauged to Boeing 777s, though not exclusively. (Legacy United Boeing 777 business class is dorm-style 8-across, but if fully flat.)

Free Trip to Europe for Joining the Amazing Race for Regular Folks

Dec 11 2015

Many of you know that I offer an award booking service. It grew too big to handle on my own, and I was fortunate enough to be able to partner with one of the real veterans and gurus in the frequent flyer game, Steve Belkin (known in online forums as ‘beaubo’).

Dec 10 2015

Starwood’s Starpoints are already the most valuable loyalty program currency.

They have the most airline transfer partners where points transfer 1:1 and of course when you move Starwood points into 20,000 miles you get 5000 bonus miles. That gets you effectively a 1:1.25 transfer ratio with most airline partners.

Now they have a new transfer partner that may just offer the single best Star Alliance award chart. Here’s why.

United’s New International Business Class Seat is Coming Next Year

Dec 10 2015

We’ll start to see United’s new business class product in Boeing 777-300ERs that they’ll start to receive at the end of 2016.

United started previewing the seat in early September. A reader shared an invitation to a United event where it was being unveiled privately. They’ve worked hard to keep it under wraps, and United spokesman Rahsaan Johnson refused to confirm details offering only, “It may be… Or may not be.”
