    I would even listen to him sing off key for hours if he would run American and bring it back to being a good company

  2. What a classy guy Bob Crandall! He would would have never disrespected the retirees like Parker.

  3. In the 1997-98 timeframe, I interviewed for a job with Southwest. That video of Crandall singing the tribute to Herb was playing on a loop in the lobby at Southwest’s headquarters. It was only later that I would learn the Herb and Crandall were buddies. I didn’t get the job, but things turned out OK. 🙂
