I’m a Briggs & Riley fan, my usual carry on is their Baseline CX bag. They’ve made a splash over the past month with a new bag, and I’ve arranged a giveaway.
As I explained earlier today, I’ll have a different Briggs & Riley bag to give away next week as well (different bags for different reasons, they’ve “got your business and leisure covered” as it were).
The Briggs & Riley TORQ is a departure from just functional offering a stylish hard shell that I think looks great (although it’s extra-reinforced to prevent damage, so functional too).

This time we’re going to try something different. Instead of answering one question, I’m going to ask you to answer two to be eligible to win.

And if you’re close, we’re cool. I’m not looking to disqualify people, just to make sure there’s no massive ballot stuffing.

I do use different bags for different reason. Business travel is always a carry-on garment bag. Leisure travel could be a number of different bags

the only thing that changes is the size; small for short trips, large for long trips or simply when i need to transport stuff.

2. Absolutely – leather duffel for quick casual overnights – 2 days max. Garment roller if I need a suit. Medium size expandable if I’ll be a while (though I try to avoid checking anything in like the plague).
More importantly, I’m soooo over Tumi by now and want to trade in for a B&R!! Pick meeeeee!!

Nope. Just one carry-on for all trips. Whether 2 weeks in Europe. Week in Hawaii. 2-day biz trip. My trusty Delsey does the trick. Curious to see how this Briggs bag holds up.

I don’t have different bags for different seasons per se. Winter usually requires more clothing/layers which sometimes forces me to check a bag if the trip is long enough.
This also much depends on the length of the trip. I have a weekender bag for personal weekend getaways, a carry on for all work trips and any personal trip under 7-8 days, and a bigger checked bag for anything longer.

My bag choice is dependent on length of trip and climate of the place I’m going to.
My luggage is always from a discounted store and they do not last. It would be nice to have quality luggage for a change
I bought a samnsonite from costco and used it twice. My puppy chewed up the most important part, the ZIPPER and now my spinner set is rendered completely useless.

But I do have different bags for work and vacation. (Vacation is bigger!)
I do not have different bags for different seasons, but I usually travel lighter for business, with a more boring bag, whose wheels leave a lot to be desired. My favorite trick is to take a carry on and within it a folded thin bag that becomes checked luggage on the way back. This comes handy when visiting countries that have excellent cheeses that count as “liquids” and cannot be brought on board (also they smell)
