‘I’m Rich And Don’t Like Waiting!’ Trump Supporter Makes Terrorist Threats At Las Vegas Airport Over Connecting Flight

A South Carolina man is facing felony charges after allegedly making terroristic threats at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas on September 9, 2024. The incident occurred when Jared Peeler, frustrated by the lack of direct flights from Las Vegas to South Carolina, reportedly threatened to blow up the airport and made political remarks supporting Donald Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign.

The confrontation began at the Alaska Airlines ticket counter, where Peeler inquired about a direct flight to South Carolina. After being informed that no such flights were available, he allegedly became agitated, prompting an Alaska Airlines supervisor to ask him to leave. Witnesses stated that Peeler refused, escalated his behavior, and made threatening comments such as, “If I was a terrorist, I’d blow up this place,” and “Come back and shoot this [expletive] up Trump 2024.”

The severity of the statements led to the involvement of detectives from the Southern Nevada Counterterrorism Center, as the remarks were treated as a potential terror threat. Peeler, however, denied making the threatening statements during a subsequent interview with authorities. He claimed he only said, “Good thing I’m not a terrorist and I’m not trying to blow up the airport,” asserting that his words had been misinterpreted.

Peeler, who was reportedly in Las Vegas to place a sports bet, mentioned during questioning that he “comes from money” and was frustrated by the delays, adding that he disliked waiting. His situation worsened when he was unable to book a flight due to an issue with his card at the Delta counter, further escalating his frustration. I have questions…

  • If he were in fact wealthy, you’d think he could fly non-stop on a private jet?
  • Or at least manage to reduce his stress over connecting with airport lounge access?
  • And why would he think that Alaska Airlines flew non-stop from Las Vegas to South Carolina?

In fact, Spirit Airlines flies non-stop from Las Vegas to Charleston three days a week. And they should be more acceptable for a self-described rich person since they’ve abandoned their business model focusing on the cheapest possible fares and making money on fees. They even offer a first class bundle now, “Go Big” that includes their ‘big front seat’ along a carry on, checked bag, priority boarding, and free wifi plus free snacks and drinks.

Peeler now faces both misdemeanor and felony charges, including a violation of airport conduct and making threats or conveying false information concerning acts of terrorism. During a probable cause hearing on September 10, Las Vegas Justice Court Judge Rebecca Saxe ordered Peeler to stay away from the airport unless he is a ticketed passenger. Peeler was released with GPS monitoring and must regularly check in with the court.

Peeler’s next court appearance is scheduled for November 14, 2024, where he will face the terroristic threat charges. As authorities continue their investigation, this case serves as a reminder of the heightened sensitivity around security in public spaces like airports.

  1. I know billionaires who fly commercial. It’s not out of some noble sacrifice. It’s because flying private is, in fact, extremely expensive.

  2. As to the criminal charges, they’re nonsense. This man is obviously mentally unwell, was exercising a constitutional right to speech (what he said wasn’t a true threat), and isn’t a danger to society in any way.

    Defund the police.

  3. Trump supporter is mentally deranged.

    Didn’t see that coming.

Sidebar: intelligent republicans must be horrified what their party has become.

  4. Obvious only to the cherry pickers and other mentally confused persons seeking to push a moronic (at best) agenda.

  5. I call BS. Neither Trump supporters nor wealthy people are promenading around advertising to which tax bracket they belong. And flaunting support for Trump. This is just ignorant.

However, if this did indeed occur, I would look to those who get busted in the back of moving trucks in the Pacific Northwest before having the opportunity to foment unrest at prayer rallies, or those who dress up like klan members and attend Trump rallies or those who storm the Capitol claiming to be Trump supporters, or those who blend into pro-life events near abortion clinics and stir up trouble, and even those artifa members who will dress up as Trump supporters and incite violence when 2024 does not go their way and the illegal migrants who will be wearing face masks purported to be antifa, also causing unrest.

See, the left has a veryv well established track record of appearing to be who and what they are not to smear anyone on the right. Their problem is that eventually the truth will always surface. One would think that if they are going to attempt these hit pieces, they would actually do sonetbing that a Trump supporter would be more likely to do and it isn’t flaunting wealth & supporting Trump

**antifa and illegal migrants yet to come.

  6. I was wondering what Trump had to do with anything but a little reading clued me in. I’m not sure that the guy deserves to serve a nickel in the federal penn but somewhere between six months and a year would both teach him personally and dissuade any other idiots from doing similar things.

  7. The College Football season is now two weeks old.

That’s exactly when everybody in South Carolina gets cranky

  8. This is analogous to yelling fire in a movie theatre. That speech is not protected and there are legal consequences.

Dude is dumb enough to hit on 20 in blackjack.

  9. I heard from a friend of an employee’s lawn guy”s mailman that he said that the agents were eating dogs and cats in the airport!
    That should get Trump’s attention.
    What a shitshow.

  10. This in noway reflects on Trump supporters, please don’t allow this wildcat to color all republican voters. Most are much more violent and crazy than this mild mannered gentleman. .

  11. Imagine a Brown guy said “If I was a terrorist, I’d blow up this place,” Where would he be today?
This shows the intellect of the Trump cult. This is a preview of what will happen if Trump loses.

  12. The direct Spirit recommendation is spot on sound advice for clueless U.S. documented citizens who don’t have taxpayer-supported border protection guards personally escorting them throughout the entire airport and aircraft experience with neither REAL ID nor any other sort of paper or electronic documentation, except perhaps a CBP One app or a Border Patrol arrest document.

  13. What exactly does GPS monitoring mean? He has to carry an Airtag in his wallet or does he get an ankle bracelet?

  14. @jon — it is a large ankle bracelet the the person has to both pay to have and pay the monitoring company. The ones in my state cost a couple hundred to install (ie put on your ankle and lock it) and about $50/week for monitoring.

  15. Remember kids, unlike politicians, you will not be able to walk back stupid inflammatory remarks. Just zip it.

  16. If he’s so rich, why didn’t his credit card work at Delta? And does he only have one card? He’s missing out on enough points to get himself back to South Carolina. For that matter, is he free to leave Nevada before the next hearing (60 days) and go back to SC?

And why did he end up at Alaska Air? Not sure they even service the state.

  17. In the South we say “comes from money” to mean has a rich family. Only an idiot would use it to describe himself.

  18. @ SFO/EWR — So, your billionaire friends are extremely cheap. A billionaire choosing to fly commercial vs private because of cost (there are other better reasons to fly commercial over private) is like a millionaire choosing to take Greyhound vs flying because of cost.

  19. Can you imagine a female or POC behaving this way? Sounds like this guy was born on third base and managed to find his way back to first base.

  20. @ James. You are absolutely correct . . . intelligent Trump supporters are horrified when Republican RINO’s start behaving like liberal Democrats.

  21. I also call BS on this story without proof of a video.
While it’s plausible an affluent customer with a big ego made a fool of himself, I believe the “Trump 2024” part of the story is a pure embellishment. It seems to be added to the story just to bash President Trump. At least HALF of our country supports Trump and the polls are lying/wrong as usual.
Politics has always been a dirty game. I know for a fact bloggers are being offered money to bash President Trump and praise VP Harris. I sure hope that’s not the case here.

  22. So will you be identifying the political ideologies of every nutcase that shows up in the future? Or is this reserved for nuts that make reference to Trump only?
