Police Raid YouTube Prankster’s Room at Waldorf=Astoria Boca Raton

A YouTube prankster was on vacation at the Waldorf=Astoria Boca Raton Resort and Club and three hours before New Years’ the property kicked him out — apparently because they were afraid he might perform a prank there though he didn’t bring his camera crew.

He says he refused a conversation with the manager because he was napping when they came to the room, and that the manager and police entered the room — his girlfriend was naked, and they wouldn’t let her get dressed in private.

American Airlines is Done Painting Planes

American Airlines is done painting planes — updating the old bare metal legacy American Airlines livery, and repainting US Airways planes to say American. MD80s, slated for retirement, haven’t been painted.

The livery was hugely controversial, many customers, critics and employees didn’t like it. With the merger they’d be repainting even more planes, adding 299 legacy US Airways aircraft to the project. At the time it was an open question whether they’d keep the new livery that American rolled out before the merger.

Yesterday’s Delta Boeing 717 flight DL1943 from Detroit to Atlanta became a 22 minute trip from Detroit to Detroit when there was a bird discovered flying around the cockpit. And it wasn’t the first time a bird flew around the cockpit that day on that plane.

On an Alaska Airlines flight from Portland to San Diego on Tuesday first class passenger Mike Timon was accused of “touching the flight attendant’s buttocks,” and has been banned from the airline.

He says he “he touched the woman ‘politely’ on her back — not her buttocks — to get her attention and order a drink.”

Southwest refused to take a family to Disney World yesterday after other passengers in the gate area suspected that their 6 year old daughter might have lice.

The family says she just had a very dry scalp from the cold Chicago winter. They’re being allowed to fly today suggesting Southwest doesn’t have an actual concern, and kicked them off purely out of fear.
