BUSINESS CLASS for the Price of Coach: From $1385 Roundtrip to Europe (First Class from London on Sale Too)
Earlier I wrote about business class roundtrips to London for less than $1500. It turns out that you can fly to other destinations in Europe as well with this deal, and you can do it for even less money.
I’ve upgraded these sorts of tickets to first class using miles before. However if you’re originating in London British Airways has first class on sale as well.
British Airways Business Class Sale: London For Less Than $1500 Roundtrip
British Airways is running a business class sale between the US and Europe. As usual, the sale is stackable with the $400 AARP premium cabin discount and with the 10% Chase discount.
In my opinion these stackable British Airways sales are the best value in transatlantic travel, they are worth proactively having an AARP membership (though you can sign up instantly for that) and an eligible Chase credit card.
Flight Delayed When Passenger Pulled Cover Off Emergency Exit Before Takeoff
“Fish out of water” stories from flights in China are probably becoming more common, rather than less common, as more and more people are flying. Hence the story this week about a man flying from Meizhou to Haikhou who delayed his Beijing Capital Airlines flight when he got curious about the emergency exit.
This Emirates A380 is the World’s Largest Flower Pot
The Airbus A380 is the world’s largest passenger plane. Emirates is the world’s largest operator of A380s. And they offer one of the most luxe products in the sky.
Now Emirates is using an Airbus A380 for something completely different. It’s the world’s largest flower pot.
SCREAMING DEAL: Park Hyatt Hyderabad Presidential Suite $138 (92% Off)
Park Hyatt Hyderabad is pricing its premium suites at the same rate as base rooms for stays December 10 through March 16. I see it for $138++ for a long weekend in February, for instance.
Of course I wouldn’t book additional travel right away. These are prepaid, non-refundable rates but I’d still wait to see whether the hotel has seller’s remorse over such a great deal.
IRONY ALERT: American Airlines Argues Company Can’t Limit Its Own Liability. Loses in Court.
American has no liability for a breach of any duty of good faith and fair dealing. With a bit of schadenfreude, then, I note that American Airlines lost its $2 million lawsuit against Century Link because of the latter’s terms and conditions disclaiming liability for anything other than willful misconduct.
