American Airlines Regional Jet Loses Cabin Pressure – Keeps Operating Flights, Staying Below 10,000 Feet

On Thursday American Airlines flight 5916 from Charlotte to Gainesville, operated by their wholly-owned regional carrier Piedmont, experienced a cabin pressurization issue about 200 miles out from Gainesville. Oxygen masks deployed in the cabin, and pilots initiated an emergency descent in order to get down to 10,000 feet.

Review: Sheraton Grand Mirage Port Douglas

The hotel dates to 1987. Bill and Hillary Clinton have stayed there, along with Leonardo DiCaprio , John Travolta, Tom Hanks, and Mick Jagger. It was refurbished in 2004, and then again in 2015. I stayed in the first updated room where I was last at the property in 2015. The hotel sits on 360 acres and features tennis, golf, gym and spa.
