Several spots that did make the list are overrated. It seems like they’re stretching because once they agreed to rate Austin they needed to rate restaurants in Austin and while the city’s food scene is across-the-board above average there’s actually very little that’s great. Some of the spots that made the list wouldn’t have come close in other cities that the guide rates.

A Spirit Airlines plane was hit by bullets while flying over Port-au-Prince. They landed safely in Santiago, Dominican Republic, however a flight attendant was reportedly grazed by a bullet. Video from crew inside the aircraft show bullet holes.

What appears to be an emotional support poodle flew American AIrlines out of Dallas in its own first class seat on Sunday.. The dog named “happy” in Chinese was reported “well behaved” but still shouldn’t have been there.

A first class passenger flying American Airlines from Dallas to Grand Rapids, Michigan on Sunday had a surprise – the person sitting in front of them in seat 2C had an extra special premium seat. The seat reclined more than most first class. And American didn’t even charge them extra! Some might say the seat was “broken” but I prefer to think of it as “angled flat.”
