Passenger Bites Cops After Being Removed From Flight In Miami

Video shows her threatening assault at another passenger, as well as a woman who was trying to de-escalate things. It’s not clear though what triggered the incident.

When she told she was being arrested she resisted – scratching and hitting officers – and was eventually carried off the aircraft anyway. She dug her fingernails into one police officer’s arm. She kicked and “nearly” knocked an officer down a flight of stairs as police tried to put her in leg restraints.

Man Sues El Al For Injuries After They Failed To Explain How His Business Class Seat Worked

A man has filed a lawsuit in US District Court for the Eastern District of New York on Monday against Israeli airline El Al because, he says, he was injured after getting stuck in one of their business class seats on a flight from Tel Aviv to New York JFK in October.

A flight attendant “had to pull him free” from the seat, and this is the airline’s fault because cabin crew had “failed to explain to him how the seat operates.”

American Airlines Cracking Down On Flight Attendants Who Violate Appearance Standards

American Airlines is cracking down on flight attendants who aren’t wearing their uniforms correctly, or who violate the carrier’s appearance standards. A message went out from a flight service manager to flight attendants earlier this week. It announces a goal of 100% uniform compliance, and warns that flight service managers will be in airports conducting checks and to write up crew.

Another Airline’s Pilot Stepped In On Southwest Flight When Member Of Cockpit Crew Fell Ill

A pilot had a medical emergency on a Southwest Airlines flight from Las Vegas to Columbus, Ohio today. The pilot was removed from the flight deck when this occurred, according to a spokesperson for the airline, and a pilot from another airline who happened to be on board “assisted with radio communication” with the other Southwest pilot commanded the aircraft.

People Have Stopped Spending Money On Credit Cards

We’re no longer facing 8% – 10% inflation, but probably still 4% – 5%. And it’s may be harder for the Fed to go the last mile.

However it may be that the banking crisis does the work for them – banks are likely to tighten up lending, which is contractionary. The odds of recession have grown, there’s no longer much talk of a soft landing (let alone no landing). Consumers have already pulled back in the week since Silicon Valley Bank failed.
