The agent declares to her, “You can find another carrier to fly. I’d suggest Spirit.”
Passenger Attacked On Miami Flight After Taking Too Long To Retrieve Bags From The Overhead Bin
On Sunday night’s Frontier Airlines flight from Philadelphia to Miami, two passengers got into a fight as the aircraft started deplaning – because “the person in front of him was taking too long to get his bags from the overhead bins.”
Since the man who was attacked was black, and the man who got away with it white, social media discussion focuses on the racial elements of the incident. Although you might say this is just what happens on a Frontier Airlines flight bound for Miami.
Air Canada Told The DOT It Was Ok To Commit Fraud, The U.S. Government Response Was Brutal
The U.S. government proposed to fine Air Canada $25.55 million for selling tickets to customers, cancelling their flights, and refusing to issue refunds. When customers complained to the Department of Transportation, Air Canada claimed they weren’t subject to U.S. law. And Air Canada sought to dismiss the fine arguing that, despite U.S. government claims, the law doesn’t require refunding customers when an airline fails to provide the paid-for service anyway.
The response from the Department of Transportation to this nonsense is brutal.
Marriott CEO: Bonvoy and Breakfast, It’s All About Hotel Owner Costs
Marriott’s new CEO admits that Bonvoy isn’t as generous as Starwood Preferred Guest was. He dismisses guest desires for hotel services as customers having a “short memory.” And he explains lack of service and generous benefits as a need to hold down hotel owner costs.

Canada Opens To Americans, But The U.S. Side Of The Border Remains Shut
U.S. Covid-19 travel bans make no sense. They are about politics, not science. Lifting travel restrictions looks weak, and the administration needs to appear to be ‘doing something’.

Man Dons Burqa To Avoid Airport Security And Covid-19 Screening
Usually when we talk about fake Covid-19 tests for travel it’s buying a forged test (sometimes to save money on testing), or just going in search of a negative test. Some resorts in Mexico, Caribbean, and Latin America return test results – seemingly always negative – instantaneously, making one wonder whether any testing is really being done.
However in Indonesia one man took fake Covid tests for travel to a new level when he donned a burqa to impersonate his wife, who tested negative.
American Airlines Miami Passenger Walks The Aisles As Plane Tries To Depart
On Saturday night’s American Airlines flight 1630 from Miami to Austin, the Boeing 737 MAX delivered new to the airline in January took a delay over an issue with the aircraft’s tire. While that was addressed, one of the passengers on board the full flight became antsy and decided to “walk around” the cabin. When the plane was close to takeoff the woman reportedly stated that “something would happen.”
