JetBlue appears to be hiring an airport supervisor for… Brisbane, Australia. There are multiple people on LinkedIn identifying themselves in administrative roles working for the airline in Brisbane already. While JetBlue doesn’t have planes capable of flying from the U.S. to Australia, Australia has no limits on foreign ownership of domestic airlines.

Marriott CEO Says Some Covid Cuts Permanent, Emphasizes Hotel Owners Vs. Guests

If Marriott can’t deliver the most value to guests, those guests have options – more so than with airlines or car rentals in many markets. They don’t just compete against Hyatt and Hilton but also Airbnb.

However Marriott’s CEO – who says workers make too much money and guests need to have more sympathy for hotel ownership groups – says Marriott needs to balance “the expectations of our guests..and the financial realities that our owners and franchisees face.”

Video Appears To Show American Airlines Pilot Sharing His Journey Away From Porn

Video has surfaced appearing to show an American Airlines flight where a pilot made an announcement prior to passengers deplaning where he shared his sins as he found Christ. In the man’s testimony he offers details on his childhood and his journey away from pornography and promiscuous sex. He tells a story about being raped as a child, becoming a sex and pornography addict, and having suicidal thoughts. He says he’s been married for 5 years but cheating on his wife with men.

40th Anniversary Of The Air Traffic Controllers Strike That Turned The Tide Of U.S. Labor Relations

August 3-5, 1981 were a remarkable set of days in U.S. aviation. The union declared a strike on August 3, 1981 which violated what is now 5 U.S.C. § 7311 prohibiting federal government employees from striking.

President Reagan ordered air traffic controllers back to work, calling their strike a “peril to national safety.” Reagan gave striking controllers 48 hours to return to work or lose their jobs. On August 5, 1981 he fired 11,345 striking controllers.

Woman Says She Was Shamed By Alaska Airlines Flight Attendant Over Her Crop Top

Sierra Steadman took to TikTok – you can now stream her complaints free on American Airlines! – to complain that Alaska Airlines shamed her and threatened to kick her off her flight because of the top she was wearing.

A flight attendant, she says, asked to zip up her jacket. She says she complied. Then Ms. Steadman says the flight attendant grabbed her and pulled her back to berate her. Ms. Steadman emphasizes, “My problem is with how she acted after I complied with her request.”
