The Palacio Duhau – Park Hyatt Buenos Aires is a great city hotel, set in an upscale neighbor apart from the hustle and bustle of the city and just a few blocks from the Four Seasons. There are two separate buildings, connected via underground walkway or outside through the garden. There’s the original Palacio and there’s a new tower. I’ve really enjoyed staying there.

The hotel itself is stunning, modern and minimalist for the bulk of the property and yet it blends well with its exterior and palace heritage. In a way it’s a Park Hyatt the way that I’ve come to expect throughout the Asia Pacific, it’s an oasis in a city like Buenos Aires

Service at the hotel in general was outstanding. The front desk staff were extremely friendly.

  13. My husband and I have been used to EXP status on AA for a few years now. The problem(s) and they are two great ones…is that we are new parents to twins this year so re qualifying for EXP status is more of a challenge than years past. In order to both spend time with our new babies and maximize both time and travel we have booked an AA business class mileage run from CAI-LHR-JFK-EZE-MIA-LHR (with AA flights to/from our home city/LHR with pending SWU’s) in november- just to get a big chunk of our mileage this year to re-qualify for EXP status. We have alloted ourselves 3 nights in Buenos Ares in between criss crossing the atlantic and would love the free nights at the Park Hyatt! Thanks from an exhausted new mom who is still enthusiastically naive that we will continue our old pace of traveling with two new mini companions.

  25. My three-year old daughter has been talking about going to Antarctic to see penguins, which is her favorite animal in the zoo. To make it far down south, we’d love to check out Argentina en route. I have heard a lot of great things about this vibrant city.

  37. Easy to choose Palacio Duhau – Park Hyatt Buenos Aires…Harder to choose whether to stay in the refurbished Palace or in the newer contemporary building!

    BA is an awesome place to visit and though not typically mentioned among the “must-stay” Park Hyatts, it’s a beautiful place and a very close second to the Four Seasons in BA.

    We’d all be remiss to win this and not make a foray out to Mendoza….
