.@AmericanAir gave us hotel vouchers just for the payment voucher to decline. At least they sent us to a hotel so my boys can sleep on chairs!! 3 other people from our flight are having this same issue. pic.twitter.com/byf06Bzg6o

@ Gary — I find it ridiculous that the hotel couldn’t give these people rooms and worry about AA later.
Why on earth would a hotel just give random people showing up a room for free for giggles? Doesn’t work that way. It’s a hotel not an open shelter.
Trying to find sympathy for Russian airlines…
…three hours later…
Nope, can’t find any.
Sad that I recognize the region from the map in the hotel! I once flew out of AVP in 1992. I think it took 3 minutes from curb to gate. Didn’t realize AA, United, United and Delta all serve it. I think Prime Air probably has the most daily flights…
Why is the west at war with Russia again?
Propping up the shareprice of General Dynamics, Raytheon and Boeing I guess?
What a disaster. Let’e Russia have Ukraine. Whatever. 50% of the people speak Russian anyway.
What a stupid reason to ruin our own country, and drag us into WWIII.
@Don – It’s better for us to fight the wars over there on their turf with their soldiers than at home with ours. Why is that so hard to understand? Or in your book is there a simple solution to every complex problem?
@Don – As the son of a WW2 veteran who just recently passed, we are fighting so people like you can have an opinion (even a stupid one). Remember what our father and grandfathers fought against (who know the same thing Trump is trying to bring to our country).
Putin is a murder, a dictator and evil. That’s why we fight.
Yes, every time some dude with an army decides he’d like a piece of an adjacent country, we should just let him have it. Never mind that the people there don’t like the guy with the army and are happy with the way things are.
Don, I’d like your house. And female relatives. They speak English anyway. Please deliver the keys to your house immediately.
Your dad would be ashamed to hear what you say, man. If he were fighting Nazis, his son (you) now supports them.
Links so you don’t call me a Russia troll (one is Jewish and another one is Ukrainian)
Do you know who these individuals are? Those who your dad was fighting.
Putin isn’t an angel but lets facts speak for themselves.
Stop with your nonsense. I don’t like the glorification of Ukrainian nationalists either but there is no question who today’s fascists are. They are in Moscow, not Kiev. And speaking of the glorification of people involved in crimes against humanity – most Russian cities still have Lenin’s statures and central streets named after him. He has the blood of many more people on his hands than Bandera and Shukhevich.
