- How to book a lap child on British Airways
- Columbus, Ohio’s airport is being renamed for former astronaut and Senator John Glenn who used his position to get to go back into space a second time at age 77. A member of the Keating Five scandal, he was judged by the Senate to have merely exercised “poor judgment” in accepting $200,000 from the head of a problematic Savings & Loan. The 94 year old remains a hero to many.
- An actual attempt at snakes on a plane
- In this video, the US government warns that when you travel you have no privacy and offers tips to secure your communications. What they don’t tell you is they’re the ones listening… (HT: Alan H.)
For the video – all that same stuff applies to the US as well…they’re probably warning people because they do the same damn thing…
+1 about the importance securing your data and communications.
I always have a USB version of TAILS in my bag, and tend to use it exclusively anytime I’m out of country. I’m not interested in having hotels and Governments review all my work.
Regarding that: why no SSL on your site Gary? WPEngine offers wildcard certs for $199 a year that would cover all of BA. No valid reason you shouldn’t all shouldn’t be using it.
Were my tax dollars spent on that terrible video?
@Rico yes.
When entering the U.S. as a foreigner your laptop and phone still needs to have enough power so they can check the devices. If its password protected you need to release the password otherwise you can be denied entry (applies to Intl.)
