Sierra Steadman took to TikTok – you can now stream her complaints free on American Airlines! – to complain that Alaska Airlines shamed her and threatened to kick her off her flight because of the top she was wearing.
A flight attendant, she says, asked to zip up her jacket. She says she complied. Then Ms. Steadman says the flight attendant grabbed her and pulled her back to berate her. Ms. Steadman emphasizes, “My problem is with how she acted after I complied with her request.”

In covering Alaska Airlines introducing award redemptions on oneworld partner Qatar Airways, I learned a few interesting things about the program’s plan for bringing on additional redemption.
Alaska Airlines Awards On Qatar Now Available, And OUCH.
Alaska separately introduced their partnership with oneworld member Qatar Airways, and at the start of June said that award redemption on Qatar would become available in August. They’re actually a few days early, and Qatar Airways awards are currently bookable on the Alaska Airlines website. However the prices are.. sketchy to say the least.

ACLU Threatens To Sue Airline For Making Flight Attendants Choose A Male Or Female Uniform
While the TSA began requiring passengers to select a gender as part of their security identification system, passengers can now choose ‘unspecified’ or ‘undisclosed’ just as many states now offer an “X” for gender on their drivers licenses. But flight attendants can’t choose X when selecting a uniform to wear.

Flight Attendant Tips Off FBI To Passengers Who Stole Nancy Pelosi’s Laptop
Passengers refused to wear a mask on an Alaska Airlines flight. That got them banned from the airline. But it also burned their names and faces into the memory of a flight attendant who had to deal with them in the air.
The cabin crew member stalked their social media, and discovered that the people who wouldn’t wear a mask on their flight were willing to wear one for selfies at the January 6th Capitol Hill insurrection. Digging further it appeared from photos on Instagram that one of them was involved in taking House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s laptop. The Alaska Airlines employee tipped off the FBI.
