A woman flying from London Stansted to Alicante, Spain was denied boarding by Ryanair “despite believing she had done all the forms, Covid tests, and other necessary things.”

The woman, who is in cancer remission and trying to clean up her affairs while she can, was traveling to her home in Alicante to clear out her belongings in advance of the property’s sale. Since she wasn’t allowed to fly, she had to find a company who would take away all her personal belongings and donate them.

Mask Resister Spit At, Kicked Passengers Because She ‘Lives In A Democratic Country’

Jun 01 2021

On Ryanair’s flight from Ibiza, Spain to Milan, Italy on May 26th, a woman returning home went into a rage after being asked to wear her face mask properly. The woman in an open shirt, short shorts, and her mask below her face started yelling at passengers who wanted her to don the mask, and spit on passengers as well.

For her part, the woman responded with a video in Italian saying she was ‘frustrated’ and ‘unlucky’ and threatening everyone who distributed copies of the videos they took of her on board.

First-Person Accounts Of What Happened When Belarus Hijacked A Ryanair Flight Sunday

May 24 2021

Belarus used a fake bomb threat to justify sending a fighter jet to intercept Ryanair flight FR4978 from Athens to Vilnius, Lithuania – and force it to land in the Belarusian capital of Minsk. Then, once it was on the ground, they snatched a journalist who had been highly critical of the nation’s strongman leader – and living in exile to avoid just this fate.

Now we know more about what happened as that plane was forced to land, and how the rest of the passengers were treated on the ground.

Belarus used a fake bomb threat to justify sending a fighter jet to intercept Ryanair flight FR4978 from Athens to Vilnius, Lithuania – and force it to land in the Belarusian capital of Minsk. Once on the ground, they entered the aircraft to grab an opposition journalist that had been living in exile.

And Ryanair did not even show outrage. Instead they whitewashed the incident, claiming there was little inconvenience to passengers.

Belarus Makes Up Bomb Threat, Scrambles Fighter To Force Down Ryanair Plane And Arrest Journalist

May 23 2021

This is truly frightening and dystopian. Belarus used a fighter jet to force down a Ryanair flight so that they could arrest a journalist on board who has opposed its President Aleksandr Lukashenko.

As pretext Belarus claims it responded to a concocted bomb threat on board the flight. However the plane was closer to its destination of Vilnius, Lithuania than Minsk, the capital of Belarus where it was forced to land.

A passenger has been sentenced to 14 months of incarceration after going off on a “foul mouthed tirade mouth tirade…call[ing] an Italian flight attendant a “fascist” while making racist Roman salutes, repeatedly refused to wear a face mask and strok[ing] the arm of another flight attendant who[m] he also threatened to punch.”

His excuse according to his lawyer? He was too drunk to remember any of this, after drinking so much vodka straight from his own bottle.

Passenger Videotapes Himself Being Denied Boarding For Refusing To Wear A Mask

Jun 04 2020

A Ryanair passenger tried to fly from Dublin to London Gatwick without a face mask. He had flown before the face mask requirement went into effect, and claims not to have known he needed one – and if it was required, Ryanair should’ve provided it, the airline shouldn’t be able to keep his money and not transport him.

The passenger claims that Ryanair threatened him with a lifetime ban if he shared this video. And he further argues that if underwear were made a requirement of flying after he purchased the ticket then it’s an ex post facto change and shouldn’t be enforced.

Ryanair Will Make Passengers Ask Permission To Use The Toilet

One of Ryanair’s new guidelines is no queuing for the lavatory. In the front of the plane post-9/11 security measures have usually included this guidance, though people frequently do line up in the back.

What’s new at Ryanair is that passengers will have to ask permission to use the toilet before getting up. Apparently it’s perfectly safe to sit beside someone in your seat, and dangerous to do so near the loo.

8 New Controversial Claims By Ryanair CEO Michael O’Leary

Feb 22 2020

Ryanair CEO Michael O’Leary believes a lot of controversial things and says them. I’ve often been skeptical that he even believes what he says – whenever he’s been out of the news for awhile he’ll talk about making customers of the European low cost carrier pay to use the lavatory, which I guess he believes entrenches the belief in customers’ minds that his airline is cheap.

However in a new interview he made made several claims only a couple of which are clearly self-serving.
