News and notes from around the interweb:
- United will fully staff its business class cabin on Boeing 777-300ERs

- Thai Airways now sells access to Bangkok lounges on the C and E concourses (HT: Loyalty Lobby)
Royal Orchid Lounge, E Concourse - BA.com lets you redeem for Air Italy flights online

@garyleff I’m still trying to figure out how this man was able to get his feet on the top of the seat. I’ve seen the bulkhead before, but this is a new one for me! pic.twitter.com/DQIvWkwxgD

I dunno, looking just at economy class, that Air Astana flight does sounds pretty great.
These passengers need to be defeeted.
Haha the Air Astana article reads like a teenager who has just had sex for the first time and now is “in love.”
I flew Air Astana GYD-ALA last week in coach on an e190 and the three hour flight flight had an amenity kit with slippers and a meal (and four flight attendants). There was BYOD IFE available over WiFi but I didn’t try to use it.
I’d find it hard to imagine that there’s an airline offering a better coach experience on a flight that length on a regional jet.
@gba: Who paid for your amenity kit and meal? The air fairy?
Or was the cost rolled into the fare?
“The physics of awful passengers”: recently I was so well behaved in seat 58A for the 14 hours from SYD-JNB, I didn’t put my feet up on the 747′ exit row “bubble” (door) even once. And I even socialized with all the drunks I mean drinkers who tried to hold a party right there in front of me at the galley and eventually were shooed away. That said I did count a fair number (> 5) of barefoot passengers. Gross.
