Vote For Your Choice Of March 1 Bilt Rewards Rent Day Offers

The first of each month is ‘Rent Day’ with Bilt Rewards, and they offer several promotions – some of which have been the best one day offers we’ve seen like transfer bonuses up to 150% to Air Canada, Air France KLM, and Virgin Atlantic.

With March Madness coming they’ve created a bracket to determine the primary offer for this upcoming Rent Day, March 1st.

  • Bilt members can cast their vote for the Rent Day promotion that will be offered March 1.
  • Voting starts February 26 in the Bilt app and at Biltrewards.com.
  • The bracket has 16 offers, 8 matchups, and the winners each day progress to the next round of voting on February 27, 28, and then 29.

The winning offer on February 29th will be available on March 1st. Bilt Gold and Platinum members receive the first and second place offers. Here’s the bracket:

Here are the offer details:

  1. 50% off the Bilt Collection
    • Get 50% off any purchase of a piece from our hand-curated catalog of art, decor, and apparel on March 1st.

  2. Triple the number of Rent FreeTM winners

  18. Bilt Mastercard® only: 5X at grocery stores
    • Earn 5X on groceries when you use your Bilt Mastercard® at checkout.
    • Up to 2,000 points

The concept here is really fun! The offers themselves are kind of meh. I’m not sure I’m rooting for anything enough to vote, or to keep returning to the app. I guess I hope that linking cards for 1,000 bonus points apiece wins, an easy 2,000 points.

More exciting, I think, is that they’re making March Madness tickets available!

Bilt Members and a guest can grab a seat and witness the action in person with exclusive game tickets and experiences for the NCAA Men’s Sweet 16®, Elite Eight® and Final Four® games taking place in Dallas, Detroit, Boston, Los Angeles, and Phoenix. Tickets start at 15,000 Bilt Points each. Check the Bilt app on Monday, February 26th for the exact games and details.

Grab tickets on March 1st, with available time slots based on Bilt Status:

  • Platinum Status Members will have first access at 12:00pm ET
  • Gold Status Members will unlock early access at 12:30pm ET
  • Silver Status Members receive access at 1:00pm ET
  • Blue Status Members will receive access at 1:30pm ET

Bilt’s standard other Rent Day offers are back for March 1, too:

  • Double points-earning with their co-brand card. As they’ve done each rent day, Bilt Mastercard cardmembers earn 6x on dining; 4x on travel; and 2x on other spend (excluding rent) up to 10,000 bonus points total and as long as they use their card 5 times each statement period to qualify to earn points.

  • SoulCycle Rides. Rent Day Rides offer a complimentary bike in special classes booked through the Bilt Rewards app starting January 29th, and one rider attending a ride that day gets a month of rent paid by Bilt.

  • Free points trivia. Answer 5 questions in the Bilt app to win up to 150 points, and if you get them all correct you get a bonus 100 points as well.

  • Family Feud-style game for free rent. 1,000 members have answered questions in advance, and you guess their answers. Correctly guess the three that are most popular and you’re entered for a chance at having December rent paid for you. This is all done with a celebrity guest. This time it’s New York Knicks player Josh Hart, and play starts January 26th at 9 a.m. Eastern.

I applaud the creativity and all the work behind Rent Day, and pulling off a voting option with 16 choices that in many cases implicate partners. That’s a huge undertaking. Bilt has set a really high bar for itself, month after month. I just wish I could vote for a big phat transfer bonus is all.

  1. I could use 15x on hotel and/or car rental bookings, assuming I can find reasonable rates via its Expedia engine.

  2. I live in the middle of a city. I buy a tank of gas every 10-12 weeks. Gas rewards don’t matter to me.

  3. People…read between the lines. Gas is a category that includes the entire store, not the liquid that comes out of the pump.

Regarding Bilt, I’ve heard Podcasts and read all these articles drooling over Bilt. I don’t get the excitement. The effort required for messing around with Bilt seems way out of proportion to the amount of attention it gets. My humble side says I must be missing something. My cynical side says there must be some vested interest in Bilt’s success to explain the share of headspace it occupies in the minds of the blogging community.

  4. @Jeff “People…read between the lines. Gas is a category that includes the entire store, not the liquid that comes out of the pump.”

You don’t need to “read between the lines”, but you should read the fine print, though: You can ONLY earn “maximum of 2,000 bonus points at the heightened rate of 10X to be awarded through this offer”. This isn’t going to work for manufactured spending.

  5. What’s interesting is how people will find a reason to whine and complain about Bilt regardless of what they do. However, Hyatt can offer some dumbass promo where you earn a measly 1k points per night during a stay and folks will launch story book post about how they can work it to their advantage.

Bilt transfers 1:1 to Hyatt and if you’re one who would find 1k Hyatt points per stay useful then stop bitching about Bilt.
