News and notes from around the interweb:
- It’s time for airlines to offer food again, otherwise passengers have to bring their own.
- It’s not just U.S. airlines that used taxpayer cash for bonuses
- United’s investments in planes and technology is great but they’ll still have service challenges
- House Democrats propose government-run credit reporting system
- SNL alum Chris Kattan booted from American Airlines flight for refusing to wear a mask
- Hertz says all new members of its program get Five Star (first tier) elite status through end of year, 3 rentals keeps it. Existing Five Star members are no longer special, and people already in the program? Yeah, not as special as new folks joining either.
If there are ever any cars in the five star area, it might be worth it, but I’m guessing not in the next 3 months.
DoT allowing emotional support crustaceans now?
The airline executives earned their bonuses for extracting government bailouts. It’s hard to attract and retain that kind of talent.
Told the Hertz booth today, who were trying to hustle away my Avis business, that I don’t trust their company and not worth the risk of getting arrested.
That’s how to be a high roller on Spirit!!!

Brilliant comment…lol…thank goodness it wasn’t KFC
Where did they get that wonderful looking seafood!need to know
There is no way that pic is legit. Miss thang wouldn’t be eating crab legs and crawfish in that nice blouse without any type of bib. Also she would’ve broken a nail if she saw someone taking a pic of her. Sorry not real. Even on spirit not real. But hilarious AF. If she could buy a tray of 3lb each crawfish she could at least afford a big comfy seat and some buzz ballz.

Also Gary: “The last 3 comments have been awkward, cowardly, racist garbage? Well that fits perfectly with my brand so I’ll approve it.”
