Yesterday I shared a detailed pre-opening review of the new New York LaGuardia American Express Centurion Lounge.
I’ve gotten hold of the opening menu, complete with food, wine, and specialty cocktail offerings. (They have a full bar as well, and all food and beverages are complimentary once in the lounge.)
Here’s the food menu, designed by Cedric Vongerichten. Wines by Anthony Giglio. And cocktails by Jim Meehan.

You’re giddy like a kid on Christmas Eve
So since this lounge is before security what stops me from going there everyday or is a boarding pass required!
Wonder how long this lasts…
@MrChu – boarding pass is required (as it is now at the Centurion lounges after security, as well)
Do you know when one will open at ORD?
Do you know when the opening date is?
@JL a matter of days (no specific date decided, but some number of days between 1 and 10)
@Ccord – no lease has been signed for space at ORD that I know of, it’s just one place where they’d presumably like to add one.
Goodness gracious they need to get on opening more of these around the US! One in ATL would be great for those times I’m forced to fly Southwest/Airtran rather than Delta.
I think you like FOOD more than Lucky likes toilets.
Thanks Gary. Although last week at the Vegas club they did not ask for my boarding pass. I’m sure they will check in LGA.
So is there any news on the SFO lounge, which was initially scheduled to open this past July? Do you know what’s causing the delay?
@Jana construction gets pushed back, these things are going pretty quickly all things considered and certainly for airports. it was supposed to be end of summer now they are only committing this year, and they don’t have a clear picture of when yet… could be beginning of november, then things get sticky with holidays.
@MrChu they have always asked me at DFW
What kind of beer do they have? Draft or bottles?
