- Aeroplan has a glitch booking tickets with Air China and isn’t booking any at the moment. Some tickets issued over the past month remain in pending status, so if you have an Air China award booked with Aeroplan points be sure to check whether you are travel-ready.

Thanks for the link to Gary. We all knew Plink was going downhill, but I think the sudden closure surprised a lot of people. I hope no one had a large Plink Point balance still in their account.
i never understood what Plink biz plan actually was… once they ran out of investor money, how did they think they’d make any???

The Spirit online ticketing fee is, of course, perhaps the most absurd airline fee in America. I only fly Spirit out of desperation (perhaps once a year), but it is my dream to buy my tickets at the airport just to stick it to them. Realistically, though, I’ll probably never do it — it’s just too inconvenient in most situations, which is of course what they’re counting on.
Yeah I got “plinked” been trying for weeks to cash out an amazon gift card but they were never available. Now I lost $50.
