American Airlines Warns Employees Not To Skip TSA Security When Traveling

Last month American Airlines fired their Cleveland airport General Manager for using his security badge to bypass TSA screening and board a flight, and having someone else skip security to bring him his laptop charger.

Recently American reminded all of its employees not to skip TSA screening checkpoints when traveling. But the requirement for vetted people to go through regular security is dumb.

These tips are great as far as they go, but the best flight attendant hotel hack ever is making grilled cheese in your room with an iron.

Why You Need To Wear A Mask On A Plane Even If You Have Covid-19 Immunity

The only way to have a mask mandate is for the mandate to apply to everyone, and that mandate is in many cases the only alternative to stricter measures. Whether you agree with that scientifically or not you need to at least acknowledge that as the political reality. And that’s why an anti-masker should, I think, support mask wearing because it’s less intrusive than the policies that would happen otherwise.

1980s Teen Star Anthony Michael Hall Loses It In The Pool Of Austin’s South Congress Hotel

Anthony Michael Hall was Rusty in National Lampoon’s Vacation. He starred in Sixteen Candles, The Breakfast Club and Weird Science – a John Hughes trifecta. When 2001’s Not Another Teen Movie sought to honor him, all the characters in high school ate at the Anthony Michael Dining Hall.

Now though he’s having to apologize for obnoxious behavior at the South Congress Hotel pool

Woman Meets Guy On Dating App, Invites Him Back To The Hyatt, Tases Him

Selena Rivera-Apodaca has been arrested for armed robbery after taking a man up to her room at the Hyatt Regency Boston. The two had met through a dating app, and she invited him to the hotel Tuesday morning. At around 11 a.m. they met in the lobby before making their way upstairs. They ‘spoke’ for half an hour before she “pulled out a taser and started to go through his pockets.”

In my own dating life this would never have happened.

Travel Management Firm Pays $4.5 Million Data Ransom, The Negotiation Is Online For All To Read

At the end of July travel management first CWT (formerly Carlson Wagonlit Travel), which is one of the largest firms handling business travel, meetings, and conferences, representing more than one-third of companies on the S&P 500, paid $4.5 million after a ransomware attack.

What’s unique about the Carlson attack is that the negotiations between the company and the hackers were left online for anyone to read.
