21 Jump Street’s Richard Grieco Arrested At Dallas Fort-Worth Airport

21 Jump Street epitomized early FOX, and its biggest stars were Richard Grieco and Johnny Depp. Now Grieco is 54, occasionally picking up roles based on being famous 30 years ago, and painting. And showing up at Dallas Fort-Worth airport unfit to fly.

On Thursday he was headed to Pennsylvania but was denied boarding because he was reportedly “hunched over the counter, yelling at employees and slurring his speech … he also reeked of booze.”

He admitted two vodka cranberries before the flight. He also had Klonopin – which he said he took because he’s a ‘nervous flyer’. The prescription anti-seizure drug can be used to treat panic attacks, but doesn’t mix well with alcohol.

Grieco was arrested for public intoxication “and officers note he was very unsteady on his feet when they brought him in for booking.” He was rebooked to fly this morning.

  1. Never heard of him or the ridiculous looking TV show, so to me he’d just be another unpleasant boozer with the potential to be annoying/disruptive. Who would mix cranberry juice with alcohol? (… only the Kale/Quinoa munchers/ Latte sippers, one suspects…)

  2. “What ya having?”
    “Cranberry juice n vodka”
“Cranberry juice, it’s a natural diaretic. My mom used to drink it on her period. You on your period?”

  3. @Paolo its a tv show from the 1980s. Pretty much all of them look ridiculous by today’s standards.
