Citibank is running a 25% bonus on ThankYou Rewards transfers to JetBlue through October 25, 2017.
And of course JetBlue is unique among Citi partners in that it’s even a transfer partner for the ThankYou Preferred card (normally 1000 ThankYou points to 500 JetBlue TrueBlue points, with this promo yielding 625 points).
ThankYou Premier and Prestige cardholders normally transfer 1:0.8 so this promo brings the ratio up to 1:1 (1000 ThankYou points becomes 1000 TrueBlue points).
With JetBlue:
- Their ‘Mint’ product is fantastic on premium routes, at a fair price
- JetBlue points don’t expire and they offer family pooling of points
- They have reasonable change fees
I’d still rather save Citi points to transfer to Singapore, Etihad (even with the impending devaluation), or Cathay Pacific’s AsiaMiles personally.
Odd… I thought the current jetblue plus bonus was 40k pts
Current JetBlue Plus signup is 40k……..
I’m cancelling Citi Prestige. Where should I transfer my points to? Thanks!
What are the 15% and 10% rebates you refer to? I understand the 10% is from JetBlue credit card… but the 15%?
This is not so much better than using points at 1.25 cents each for airfare. In that instance, you EARN points.
