  1. The fares look attractive if you can book a flight where you are going but I prefer the non-stop service that I get on JetBlue. Anyhow, I usually stay away from flight that may have connections at snowy and icy airports if I can so I will probably not be flying in the USA during the flying period.

Generalizing from limited data points isn’t a great idea. I rebooked AUS/PHX r/t this morning for early Dec. — everything was on sale. Just for grins, I checked AUS/DEN, same dates, also plenty of availability.

  3. This is an incrediably good sale. I rebooked a DAL to SFO flight in January for $62.09. Also a LGA to DAL for $61.94 in February. I have a companion pass so this is for two people plus the $5.60 fee for each flight for my companion. This is why I love Southwest. Plus we each get two checked bags. I can’t fly with luggage any cheaper plus I get to fly to DAL instead of DFW. Much easier for me since I live in Dallas.
