Rove Miles Is Giving Mesa Cardholders Free Points — Up to 5,000 Each, Until They Run Out

Rove Miles will give anyone stranded with points in their Mesa account free points. They’re calling it a ‘match’ but this is capped at 5,000 points per member and up to 2 million points total. Think of it as 5,000 free points. Here’s where you request yours.

  • They want you to upload your most recent statement, which you can screenshot from inside the Mesa app.

  • And they want you to screen shot your rewards balance. I’m not sure if you’ll be ineligible if you’ve cashed out all your points after Mesa shut down their card. No downside to submitting!

Miles “post within two weeks of verification.” Often points post faster than promised, but I am expecting a full two weeks. Rove promised everyone at Zorkfest 2,500 points, I submitted the form and haven’t seen the points yet. It hasn’t been quite two weeks yet.

Rove Miles can be used to book travel directly, or transferred to:

  • Star Alliance: Air India Maharaja Club, Lufthansa Miles & More, Thai Airways Royal Orchid Plus, Turkish Airlines Miles&Smiles

  • oneworld: Cathay Pacific Asia Miles, Finnair Plus, Qatar Airways Privilege Club

  • SkyTeam: Aeromexico Rewards, Air France/KLM Flying Blue, Vietnam Airlines Lotusmiles

  • Non-alliance: Etihad Guest, Hainan Airlines Fortune Wings Club

  • Hotel: Accor Live Limitless

If you don’t have a Rove account yet, being referred gets you 500 free points as well.

  1. By ‘run out’ are they merely talking about the promotion or their ultimate demise, too, because, all I see is… scams, scammers, and rug-pulls on the horizon for all of them, BILT, especially, after WF exits. Come at me, Ankur’s goons. I’ll be waiting…
