- American increases the cost of Business ExtrAA AAdvantage Gold elite status awards without notice. Always poor form. Worth noting that Business ExtrAA is sales, not AAdvantage, even though you can redeem their points for AAdvantage status.
- Air France KLM Flying Blue was always a bit strange in that general members could book award travel only 10 months out, while partners had access to space when schedules opened (best availability on Air France with Delta miles would be 11 months out). Now it appears that Air France is letting their members book awards when the schedule opens.
- The crazy category 7 pricing for Hyatt’s Hotel Levent Istanbul — creating the odd situation where the hotel would be 3 times as much money on a cash and points booking as on a paid rate — has been corrected. It’s now category 3.
- I wrote about how Global Entry seemed to be getting revoked from dual US citizens from the 7 banned countries. It appears now that Nexus cards are being pulled as well. (HT: @h4ppYtrave11er)
