If you go to the home page of Signature flight there’s a popup box offering free Emerald Club Executive status which normally requires 12 rentals or 40 rental days in a year and offers better choice of cars at many locations from the “Executive Aisle,” a guaranteed one car class upgrade, and a free rental day for every six rental credits.
A direct link to the offer is here, with details on how to open a new account at the Executive level or upgrade the status of an existing account.
The page also flags status matching opportunities, so some chance of getting top tier Executive Elite status if you hold similar status with Avis or Hertz.
While this is clearly marketed to customers of Signature Flight Support (private plane customers…) there are no terms and conditions, no verification requirements, indicates open to customers and crew alike, and advertised on the Signature home page via popup.

Anyone see if this offer is still good? I only get the regular emerald club status rather than executive when following the link.
These pages (currently) don’t have any mention of Executive status, only membership in Emerald Club. Has the offer been pulled?

Sent an email requesting the upgrade and received a response. I responded that I wasn’t going to be near and wouldn’t fly by then and what were my options. We’ll see what they say. Here is what they said:
Thank you for your interest in the National Emerald Club Executive upgrade offer for flight crew and passengers of Signature Flight Support. To take advantage of this offer, simply present your Emerald Club credentials to the Signature Flight Support Customer Support Representative at the Signature Flight Support location on your next trip (before April 30, 2012). The Representative will forward your information in order for your upgrade to be processed. You will then receive your upgraded materials in 4-6 weeks.

Indeed, received my reply this AM stating that I’d be all set, as soon as I leave for my next private jet ride! So, in as little time as NEVER I’ll be hooked up with Executive status again… I miss the better cars on that aisle vs. the regular folks’ choices.

Thank you for your email. Unfortunately, the only way to complete the upgrade in status process is by flying into a Signature Flight Support location before April 30, 2012. However, you can still take advantage of all the great opportunities afforded by membership in the Emerald Club including earning free rental days, access to the Emerald Aisle and service at Fixed Base Operator locations. Thank you for choosing National and using the Emerald Club.
