It’s been one year since Radisson Hotels was split into two companies and loyalty programs one for the Americas and one for the rest of the world because the company was Chinese-owned and it was their way of addressing U.S. concerns over data warehousing and sharing.

One year later the U.S., Canada, Latin America and Caribbean business is being sold to Choice Hotels and that raises uncertainty about the future of the program and its points, though presumably those points will be transferred into Choice Privileges.
